New to the game and I have some questions

Hi there, I found the game recently and I am digging it a lot and there are some things I would like to ask and hopefully can receive answers to.

- I am digging Bianca a lot and I read it on the wiki that she is planned to be added to the recruitable crew members. As the development to me is completely unknown now. Is it actually planned that there will be quests and opportunities for her to be added and is it in development or is it more just a future feature that has not been worked on yet?

- Is there any kind of class or other attributes that can make the game more beginner friendly? I started with a bookworm technician and so far I did not have a lot of problems on Mhen'ga with enemies and only died once or twice but I do not know how deep and hard the combat can get based on what I chose

- I just opened the next planet, Tarkus, and can I just return to previous planets if I had quests left unfinished or left recruitable NPCs to be maybe revisited?

- I got pregnant when fighting in the Mhen'ga jungles and I read through the Pregnancy wiki thread but it was not clear to me. Can pregnancies be stopped when they are already happening or you just have to get it over with?

- I got an SSTD (Sneezing Tits) in the jungle of Mhen'ga and I see it is chance based if I can catch it, however is there any kind of NPCs, creatures or certain areas that have higher chances of contracting an SSTD.

- Can I see the familiarity score with NPCs somewhere or is the value only displayed inside the game code? I can see what can influence this in the case of Bianca but I do not know what kind of value I currently have with other NPCs.

- Can Taint only be lowered if refrained from causing any more of it and it will slowly go down over time or are there specific items that can lower it?

Thank you for your help and hoping to have a fun time with this game and talking with the community.

The game combat isn't all that difficult. Just pay attention to what the game text and/or wiki says regarding weaknesses enemies might have vs certain types of damage, e.g. Poison, Lust, Electric, etc.

Steele has an apartment on the very top floor of the Nursery on Tavros Station. That tile has a few options like Sleep, Storage and Maternity Wait. The last one is very helpful if you don't want your PC waddling around with a bun in the oven while dodging laser beams. Months of game time will flash by in an instant. Beware of using this option if you are on a time-sensitive quest, however.

On Tarkus, Dr Lash can make you immune to SSTDs for 10k credits. The procedure also lowers your Virility and Fertility by 50%, but those can easily be raised afterward.

Only time can heal those wounds. For every three days that pass without a rise in Taint, your Taint score drops by one.

EDIT: It's soooo refreshing to meet a new player that actually checked the Wiki first and then came to the board with questions. :p

Tech Specialist is very good. Well, Melee is, I haven't tried Ranged. I haven't heard anyone complain, though. What perks are you taking? I took Attack Drone and haven't found Shields lacking, so I can only imagine just how ridiculously durable Shield Techs are.

Combat is fairly easy for the most part. It's possible to get through most (all?) of the game at level 1, if you know what you're doing, are patient and are willing to exploit some broken mechanics. You just want to max your Attack Stat (Physique or Aim, Intelligence if you took Charge Weapon). Tech Specialists get a lot of benefits from Intelligence, so you'll want to keep it high. Consider making friends with Syri, who can raise your Intelligence for free if you're willing to have sex with her once.

In general, you don't want to mix Melee and Ranged. Pick one and stick to it. Visit the Ten Ton Gym on New Texas and/or look into recruiting Ramis to keep your other stats high-ish. Remember you have Paralyzing Shock for difficult enemies (since you took Tech Specialist) and you should be fine.

You can't stop a pregnancy in progress, but Sterilex is one hundred percent effective and fairly cheap. If you don't want to deal with pregnancies at all, take 3 for Sterile, which is easily reversible with Fertite+ if you change your mind. You could also greatly increase Incubation modifier to reduce the time you spend pregnant. However, pregnancies keep the Incubation modifier you had when they started.

There are a couple of quests on Mhen'ga in particular that can't be done until later, actually. You did meet Professor Shep Darnock at the Thare Plantation, didn't you?

- In development

- There is an easy mode in the menu, however it is tied to your save, so first load your save, then go to the menu and activate it.

- Yes

- You have to wait for it to finish

- Anything wild from memory

- In the codex, there's an encounters tab

- You must wait

I did meet the professor and talked with him a little and Able. I did not give them deep attention as I was more focused on completing the other Quests.
Thanks for all the tips. These gave some very good things I will try out .

Also keep in mind that some enemies are easier to beat with tease attacks than with physical ones, particularly Amara Faell and Overseer Maike (two later-game but technically optional bosses).
bloody overseer maike. i hate that bitch so much. even if i'm playing a character based on combat rather than lust fighting i'll still use lust to beat her because trying to beat her with combat is a pain in the ass
