the new patches out. will i have to start a new game for them to take effect or not. also how long till the releace of the stuff for public

No you don't have to start a new game, but you need to download the latest version if you are playing download builds. If you're playing web builds it will update to the latest version automatically when you load the page. Public releases are the middle of every month. The latest release is public, so the next will be in about a month.
