So as a quick intro, I have this account more like a throwaway alt to check out on news in adult games, most of the time focusing on the gameplay aspects.
And after lurking around following CoC II for a long while, I've decided to throw in my sales pitch of a new idea to spice up playthroughs: Companion Traits.
It's actually very simple, each companion will have a unique perk based on their character as a whole, that's always active regardless of what sets they use.
Sounds complicated at first, so let me already give four examples that will easily make it clear how it would work in practice:
- Caitriss: Part of Cait's character (besides her "eagerness to spread her legs open") is that she's a priestess up and foremost, so have her Trait be that all fights with her begin by her blessing every party member with a Shield HP buff of X strength, whatever amount feels balanced, that scales with level. A simple Trait that works well enough for any fight, just like how she herself is a jack-of-all-traits, you-can-never-go-wrong-having-this-catgirl-in-your-party companion.
- Atugia: Very simple idea. Have her Font of Will perk become her Trait instead, so that not only her Runic Set become a better dps/tank hybrid, but her default Knight Set frees up the first perk to let's say Veteran as one option, letting the muscular dullahan tank even better.
- Etheryn: This is one that I hope sounds very creative. Have her Trait allow it so that every fight she's in, Harrick will always be immediately present as a unique follower slot (not in the Summon slot), without Ryn having to "summon" him. This will not only free up her Call Falcon power for more options that can better suit her sets, such as for example Deadly Shadow in her default Outrider Set, but if you were to give her the Crown of Winter, then just like the Champ, Ryn will be able to use Dawnbreak in her Warrior Queen Set.
- Quintillus: Another simple idea. Have his Filthy Tease perk become his Trait instead, freeing up his level five perks with other options for each of his sets.
And yeah, that's pretty much it! If per chance this idea does ends up getting implemented, there's no need to credit me.
Like I said before this account is just an alt to moonlight for adult games, so simply credit it as "community ideas from the forums" or the like.
Feel free to comment on Traits for the remaining companions, including the authors themselves having their say. So long and fap responsibly.
