I'm sense some antagonism . If I'm getting on y'all's nerves. My bad. I was just trying to add to the game. I don't mean to stop no problems.
If all I need to do is add damage values and prices and shop locals that's easy.
But if none of these seem up of interest. Then forget it.
Don't take it personally, it's just REALLY common for people to have ideas about stuff but then abandon them once they realize just how lengthy the process of getting them implemented will be. They're not being intentionally hostile, they're effectively going off of a script at this point. You are suggesting a lot of big ideas that, even if they were properly balanced (which, considering you're thinking about sending in a freaking Drone Strike, doesn't seem likely), would take a great deal of time and effort to code. Time and effort that would have otherwise gone to other projects unless you plan on writing and coding it yourself.
You seemed decent enough in another thread and I have some time to kill, so here's some feedback, though:
-Cross Class Items: it will take a level of balancing that most PROFESSIONAL game developers can't get right to make that idea worth using, yet not overpowered considering the way classes are set up currently. The action economy in this game is actually pretty ironed out and those ideas seem like they'd either go completely ignored by most players or completely unbalance certain classes even further than they already are. It's not impossible to get right, just highly improbable and I don't see the real demand from the playerbase to include concepts like that. Also, stun grenades already kinda exist for each class. We have Flash Grenade on Smugglers, Paralyzing Shot on Tech Specs, and Headbutt on Mercenaries that all fill the roll of spreading status effects. Also also, this has nothing to do with balance and is just a personal note, but you travel from planet to planet across the galaxy in this game (and sometimes alternate realities). Even if you DID include some kind of quest where you explained how you gained control of a massive death laser, how could you expect a satellite to be able to reach you wherever you went? Same kinda goes for Drone Strike, especially in underground areas like Mirellion. I am aware that it sounds like a complete nitpick, but it does demonstrate a lack of attention to both the bigger picture of the narrative AND the detail of the mechanics themselves that actually concerns me greatly.
-Dildo Pickle: just why. What's the point of it? We have healing items already and I'm pretty sure that some of them even increase taint. Unless you want to write a whole scene where you masturbate with it and then eat it or something, I cannot imagine what its purpose would be in the game.
-Witch Doll: again, we already have healing items. That one actually seems overpowered if you can buy it in bulk because it instantly renders all other healing items worthless and completely useless if it's a one-off item.
-Unhappy Ending: overpowered by the standards set for consumable items if it can be used before combat starts, useless if only used in combat (and it's body oil, how would you even use it in combat?). Use it before a hard battle to directly boost your chances of victory. Boosting a stat like reflexes might be more reasonable, but, like everything you listed, it comes down to player demand and opportunity cost of coding it even if it is perfectly balanced.
-ROM COM: once again, it's either useless or overpowered. Lust is way too slippery of a slope and there's just no demand for consumables like this.
-Bond Aid: like the other healing items you listed; it will go completely ignored by almost every single person that plays this game and has no reason for existing.
-Pandora's Box: by far the most interesting, but without a doubt the most complex. As you described it, it would be completely useless from a combat perspective 99.9% of the time because you'd give your turn up to set up a crit on your next turn (I'm getting D&D True Strike flashbacks with this one), but it would be cool to see a crewmate fight with you. This idea has the most potential if you want to flesh it out further into a more impactful mechanic, but you'd need to do a lot of writing for characters that are owned by other people to make it anything more than completely bland and useless. Also, do keep in mind that some writers are already considering making a follower system with your crewmates. To my knowledge it's not even being worked on yet, but I'd hate to see an item as minor as this come into conflict with a far more ambitious idea somewhere down the line simply because they both use your crewmates.
I hope I was able to help somewhat. I can't imagine these ideas specifically gaining any traction, but if you want to get serious about writing for TiTS, I wish you the best of luck. Many have tried and failed before you, but it's not impossible if you're actually invested in it. That's why everyone else was harsh. You can't half ass stuff that might get put into an actual game that makes people money. You need to be organized and willing to put in the work if you want to see success.
Edit: Large changes because I accidentally posted it only a few paragraphs in.
