Seriously it's not as bad as it used to be, trust me it used to be worse and lacked a lot of information than what it has now.
There's still a lot missing. For example: About half the shop items on Poe A aren't listed. So I don't know what most of them do. (Also I forgot to save before coming here. Shit.)

well that kinda stupid there shulde be an item that can turn you into a centaur with out you have to change in to something else first
There are actually very few items that turn you into a centaur in the first place. That's the thing. There are plenty that transform your centaur body. But they won't give it to you in the first place. Presumably the reason for this is how few centaurs are in the game in the first place. Presumably because most people do not find centaurs appealing so in most cases its better that the cat transformative doesn't suddenly make you have four legs. That said. There's actually very few ways to become one in the first place. The only transformation item I could find that does it (even after searching the wiki heavily) was the dragon necklace thing. And also that one costume on Poe A. That in mind: Yes. There probably should be a more easily accessed way to turn into a centaur.

There are a few items that can give you a tauric lower body.

Over dosing on Catnip Catnip - Trials in Tainted Space Wiki
Leitha charm Leitha Charm Necklace - Trials in Tainted Space Wiki
Taurico Venidae Taurico Venidae - Trials in Tainted Space Wiki

Those 3 will give you a tauric lower body then take Nuki Cookies to transform into a kui-tan centaur as Nuki Cookies Nuki Cookies - Trials in Tainted Space Wiki, states more than one leg tun into Kui-tan legs nothing about merging legs greater than 2.

The way I would do it would be with Catnip and overdosing on the leg transformation as that would give you a tauric lower body and you would only have to use it twice and then take Nuki Cookies to transform into a Kui-tan Taur.

Attached file shows a kui-tan taur done that way.

I personaly would say Holidays option is better. Costs only 1000, you can chose the gender and you get rid of the risk to accidental going to Poe A.
I know they warn you when you try to fly to it, but since most of the other Poe A transformatives are mostly harmfull to designer-Steeles (except you want sayed design specificly), getting it out of the way early is a positive.

First: what kind of taur? Horse legs? Then you need 4 legs before taking Horse Pill or do the costume as already stated. Or do you want a different type?

Second: Kui-tan TF reduces leg count to 2 and changes type so you can't naturally have 4 kui-tan legs (which would look weird anyways being furry human legs)

if you had read or looked at the file that was attached you would see that is not true.

This is the leg description from my Kui-tan taur in the attached file.

From the waist down, you have a bestial, four-legged form vaguely like that of a canid. Your ass is barely noticable, showing off the muscles of your haunches. A black-and-brown-ringed kui-tan tail waves behind you. Your legs, though covered in fur, are humanlike. Long feet on the ends bear equally long toes, and the pads on the bottoms are quite sensitive to the touch. Your midriff is fairly well-toned.

Now you will more than likely say the taur body is describe as canid but that is more than likely due to there being no description for a Kui-tan Tauric body and defaults to the canid one. The rest of the description is that of a tauric centered Kui-tan. Now most TF's do say and do give or take away legs till you only have 2 but Nuki Cookies do not and the description and codex show Current Race as Kui-tan Taur.

I personaly would say Holidays option is better. Costs only 1000, you can chose the gender and you get rid of the risk to accidental going to Poe A.

The problem with using/waiting for Poe A is the wait, unless it is Holloween. While for the way I have done it you only have to wait for level 3 to open catnip TF with Jade.
But with Poe A and the 3 TF items options open to the then to each their own to find their path

I never liked the Holiday option, because there's this implication that the taur part is not actually biological, or at least not *really* "part of you". I guess that's just me being weird though.

I love and hate Poe A... it's got amazing scenes (Teh taur scene is fucking fantastic), but I also hate that it messes with your transformations, so you can't do it without ruining the carefully crafted Steele you've built. At least, I build Steeles to very strict criteria

But you can get to Poe A when it isn't halloween.........

Also how the fuck do you fly to a planet by accident?

I've never made a typo of that magnitude. Let alone twice in a row.

There's a new cheat code that lets you access all holiday or seasonal events without having to change the settings on your computer. Here:

Thanks for the suggestion.

I've added a similar system though with some more nuanced options. It isn't accessible in the options however, and should be accessed via typing in "tistheseason". This will open up a menu and the player can choose which holiday to toggle as "Always On", "Always Off", or "Automatic". By default, all seasonal events are on Automatic. The edit may show up in the next release.

I didn't look at your file, wasn't responding to you, didn't feel the need to. Admittedly I was wrong about number. However, look at what I just quoted from you, my point stands. Padded feet =\= paws. If they were digitigrade paws the description would say as much. Picture of editor after taking cookies on wrong save file for proof of flags. 4 or more human legs is a weird image.

It probably was scripted at one time to appear in that manner. From my own personal experience playing a WAY older build that seemed to be the case. But now... yeah it’s not scripted anymore at least not in the way it used to be.

I got it a bit later than I used to playing the most recent build. But I still had it well before I got around to Myrellion. (Some time while I was still finishing up Tarkus?)

In either case. Well before I've even settled on what I want to look like for my current run, let alone made serious headway on achieving it.

this sounds like something that should be said in the bug report subforum, tbh.

The Poe A email is a random chance, like 1/100 a day or it'll appear on Halloween. Sometimes I get it before I even reach Mhenga. On another character that I've been dicking around with, he's on day 200 without the email.
