It was a sorta web based one with a tavern that you could go to for quests (such as the arena fight and minotaur milk gathering etc.) and you start out fighting squirrels, yes?
Can't remember the name either, feel like it was cancelled a while ago though. Hopefully with the additional details someone can dig it up....
*Edit* It may be "Fallen" . However the site where you could access the game is dead AF. (afaik)
