It was a long time ago, but I remember a male pilot(?) that hung out at the myrellion hangar you could romance. But I can’t remember his name...

Any help?

Are you thinking of Kara, maybe? She's the closest thing I can think of to what you're describing.

The only interactable characters with dicks and their own ships are Kiro, Kaede, Chaurmine, Saendra (but only after mods), and again, Kara.
Well they never said the guy had a dick... Still, I don't know many characters that have there own ships.

Also, you forgot Zalt.

I don’t recall you ever entering his ship... I do remember something about when you asked him about the future, he’d say he’d just “wait it out and see what came up” so...merc maybe? It’s really foggy

If I'm not mistaken, you might possibly be remembering Kaede's encounter on Myrellion.

Chaurmine? If there's faulty memory involved, the planet might be wrong too.

I definitely remember them pretty much staying in the hangar for eons. Then again, it must’ve been years ago.

Thanks for the help everyone :3

She identifies and presents as female from your first meeting though, IIRC.
Memory is a fickle thing, my friend. You'd be surprised what facts your brain keeps and what gets thrown out the window, and how it fills in the gaps. Trust me, I should know.

Man, you're right. I've seen those crazy psychology studies about how like half my memory is probably just an interpolation of my idiot brain. Unless they themselves were just a creation of the mind! But then...

On topic though, I really can't think of anyone not already mentioned that this might be.

I was referring to Embry. Them starting out as a guy may have thrown off Spades' memory.
She identifies and presents as female from your first meeting though, IIRC.

She is explicitly laid out as a trans woman and therefore is a woman, not a guy. If you really want to get technical with assigned genders with trans people, she is DMAB (Designated Male at Birth) or alternately AMAB (Assigned Male at Birth). Just a little tidbit on proper respectful etiquette on describing trans folks. And no, sorry whether they've transitioned or not does not affect what you call them; they are always what they identify as. And yes, please do respect even fictional trans people because true acceptance is being respectful even when no one can see or it doesn't seem to matter. It's a good habit to check ourselves if we slip up anywhere so that it's second nature to us to use correct pronouns for people. No one will get mad if you slip up; just correct yourself and move on.

(Edit: just clarifying that the "you" here is a general you and not aimed at anyone in particular. I'm just a bit more forceful because I have seen some posts around this forum that are.....pretty disrespectful towards trans individuals.)

In other words, Embry and Kaede are both girls and should not be counted regardless of stage of transition because they both explicitly consider themselves female. And in a world where people of literally of any gender can look however the heck they want.....what genitals and secondary sex characteristics they started out with should matter even less. That's the nice thing about this game; a person who looks completely like a traditional female is still male because that's what they consider themselves and same goes for anyone who looks traditionally female (hmmm, I actually would like to see a species where the females look traditionally masculine in a similar vein to the Nyrean and Ovir males looking traditionally feminine).

On topic though, I don't recall seeing anyone at the Myrellion Hangar. The only hangar that has an NPC lounging around is Tavros Station's with Vahn, and I don't think you can romance him unless sexing counts. Otherwise, it's only specific encounters like Kiro or Kaede, and if you decide to help Embry with transitioning she does lead you to a ship that offers board to people.

I meant it as in physically. And I get what you're trying to do, but you need to chill out a little bit, dude.

Plus, I don't know what you're talking about. I've been on here longer than you, and have at no point seen any kind of comment like that is disrespectful towards trans people. Well, except for one time with @Kesil .

Given the sort of character that Kaede is and that their sex stuff is (entirely?) centered around her taking advantage of her dick or her butt, I don't find it too surprising that she gets half-remembered as being male.

It was a scattering by the same person, yes, which did not settle very satisfactorily for me. But I don't why I need to chill since I wasn't upset and I was explaining in pretty polite terms. It's get across why Kaede and Embry wouldn't be considered male despite their anatomy (i.e. "physically" as you say). I prefer being long-winded since being overly blunt in my experience does not get a point across well on this subject matter. I'm also past the point of caring if I look too high strung because explaining these kinds of things tends to elicit that reaction no matter what so I just go with what I think is best and I'm not afraid to be forward on the matter since it's an ongoing issue in the world. ;)

Education is the best way to avoid these kinds of misconceptions, imo, and everyone starts at this point so I was not and still am not mad.
