Mimbrane parasitizing crew/lover

Would you like to see mimbrane or other parasites having the ability to parasitize crews/lovers?

RT! I think it would be quite lovely if your mimbranes could have a chance at parasitizing a crew member if they reproduced while you're sleeping in the ship, or if you ordered someone to sleep with you the night they were going to reproduce~ It is quite fitting for the theme of the game, and what fun is there to be the only one tainted? Why not bring your lover into the clasps the sweaty, pheromone-emitting new skin they'll soon grow to love?

Thanks!

Have you started at least writing an outline of your ideas?

Just a post to test the waters, if the community is too opposed to the idea (i.e. last time I checked it was 50% 2vs2 vote). There probably won't be a reason for me to start anything. But it was just a fun idea that came to me when I was spamming mimbrane trust levels and Kase came over numerous times during the process :p If that lil' cat enjoys being told what to do, let's just give him some parasitic overlords that will tell 'em what to do 24/7!

Considering that mimbranes can cover basically entire body + they can be moody if not tended to properly + the sheer amount of companions = gr8 wall of text , maybe you should try some simpler creatures like buttbugs (they got enough variety but don't have the overwhelming amount of options the mimbranes have , there is also a chance my reasoning is faulty if that's the case please correct me , idea is good tho.

1] A writer needs to decide whether they want that for their character.
2] The character needs to consent to receive the parasite.

I would wager not many writers want that for their beloved characters, a number further limited by the amount of writers whose characters are available as crewmates.

Then there's the question of what character would even accept the damn thing. Only bimbo characters like Mitzi come to mind. No one of a sound mind.

My money's on 'not happening'

As others have mentioned this is probably not a good idea. This looks far too complicated to be done as you are suggesting even if you are a skilled writer it still would need some retroactive additional programming to check which character can have mimbranas, how many they can have, if they already have, what changes it was done to their bodies and etc. Not to mention some creators are probably against their npcs getting mimbraned

If you really intend to do some parasitism, I think you should reduce the scope to one or two crew/npc and try a less complicated parasite, like a Cunt Snake or Dick Vine. As for the characters, I think the ones who couldn't be able to refuse Steele idea are the most likely: B. Kiro, B. Penny, Mitzi and perhaps Amber and Reaha?
