Aight, I downloaded the game after about six months of not playing. Now I'm at the lvl 10 cap and amd going around chilling. Suddenly while I'm on zhenh shi I get attacked by what seems to be an unbeatable lvl 12 Laquine that resembles a shadow (She also attacked me in an alternate save on Nuked Myrellion before that, but I only got her intro at the 2nd encounter from a previous save on zheng shi). The only weapon that worked for me in my 2 encounters was my Gravidic Disruptor and that didn't help much. What exactly triggered this monstrosity? Is there a way to win?

And while I'm at it might as well ask about the Dzaan I've been trying to beat. Jasvalla. Idk how to win. I always get her to about 300 health, then she suddenly destroys me with 4 lust attacks. I tried equipping myself with better resolve gear and staying away from her hunting grounds while I still have the effect from losing to her, but I can't seem to finish the fight with a win... :(

Triggers are 1 of: Defeat 20 Bored Jumpers OR Overseer Maike & the Forgehound OR Shock Hopper.

She's weak to Corrosive/Poison (40%) and Burning (20%). She's resistant to Kinetic (85%), Freezing (50%) and Electric (25%).
As usual, Stun weapons are extremely effective. If you're Ranged, Heavy Slut Ray is especially good. Hirudo Devourer or NaN Deconstructor are also decent choices, even if you're Melee, because of Vampiric.

Her Shield Bypassing attack is pure Freezing, so picking up some underwear from Uveto is a decent idea. Even 20% makes a big difference. You can also eat Roasted Zhor Beast for an additional 10%. You can eat it in combat, too, but it takes a turn. If you focus on it, it's possible to get 100%, but you sacrifice a lot of other things for it. Sleek Parka/Winter Gear + Undewear + Roasted Zhor = 80%.

You mention Gravidic Disruptor, so you're definitely a Tech Specialist. Can you tell us more about your character? What are your Stats? Did you max out Physique/Aim/Intelligence? Which Perks did you take? Which Implants did you install? What equipment are you using?

Tech Specialist's biggest weakness is Energy. I don't know if it's a bug, but Power Potions can be stacked in the inventory, and have no in-combat use limit.

Aight, I honestly am not good with stats and the like for most games. I tend to go for all rounder builds and work with what I know to win. So my physique is 22, reflexes 31, 27 aim and intelligence and 30 willpower. Perks: I took drone, overcharge, d regen, gravidic disruptor gun tweaks, charge shield, second shot, deadly shock and boosted charges.

You're not the only one who likes to go for a wider stat spread, and you're not the only one to suffer for it.

Fortunately, it's possible to max out all your stats.
At the least, you want to max Aim and Intelligence. For reference: you have a 1-in-20 chance of inflicting Paralysis (Paralyzing Shock) or Stun (Overcharge) on her. With 50, you'd have a 12 in 20. Same for Aim & Stun Chance. If your Intelligence/Aim was any lower, you'd have a 0% chance.

Intelligence is the easiest or hardest, depending on whether you're willing to fuck Syri at least once.

For the physical stats, I recommend getting a suit of Augment-Weave Armor from the Cyberpunk Security. It's double Soreness recovery is invaluable. You can eat at the Saloon South-West of the Ten Ton Gym to recover Soreness & Energy quickly.
Stamina with Ramis is good, too, especially since you're training Reflexes & Willpower at the same time.
