Hey folks. I'm looking for a certain text game that I found some time ago. The game occurred in a post apocalyptic setting. You made a character ala standard RPG choices for such games.. minor variations on stats, races, skills, etc. I recall some of the races.. you had futa orcs (Forx), an all female race of demi-humans with hair of every color called Witches, an android species, and several others. The game opens with your character finding shelter in a tiny community. Cans of food were the primary currency for everyone in the area. The world consisted of a grid map that you could move around and scrounge for stuff in.

I'm hoping someone around here might know what the game is. It's not Flexible Survival or CoC or any of those transformation heavy games. From what little I played, Transformation wasn't really a theme.

Thanks for any help you can render!

Sounds interesting but not familiar. Transformation is a take it or leave it kind of thing for me but many of the big text games happen to be focused on it; I'd def. remember one like you describe if only because the sci-fi/fantasy blend with no transformation would stand out.

What engine was it on? That'd make it easier to hunt for.

Probably not, the races in Gangs aren't anything like what they're describing here.

Tis not gangs and whores. There's not really much in way of visual content in this game, especially of the 8 bit variety. I wish I had more details I could add.

Unfortunately I do not recall. I've been trying to for some time as well, cuz yeah, like you said, it would really help narrow this down. I want to say that the game engine in question is ADRIFT. but I'm honestly just guessing with that. It's the only engine I have possessed at one point in time that I don't recall which games I used on, where as engines like Inform and Quest have games I can recall and trace.
