Locked out of Etheryn content?

Ive done her whole quest line thus far but cant get her cage removed, and when she is at the lair with me the dragon refuses her help?

Lumia can't remove the cage yet because it's gated behind all the content written for the 'proper' way of doing it (confronting Alissa) which isn't in the game yet. The thing with the dragon isn't a bug or missing content, she literally tells you why Ryn can't be the one to touch the spear.

You don't really need to do more for that; the content that will unlock the Lumia uncaging option for Ryn hasn't been implemented yet. When it is, the Lumia option should unlock automatically and you'll know the implementation of uncaged Ryn has happened because the patch notes will undoubtedly make a big deal of it.

Basically, all the content involving uncaged Ryn (her new sex scenes, the revisions to her old ones and related incidental changes like to her Appearance description) was being written for the upcoming quest which includes the 'proper' way to unlock the cage, namely beating Alissa up and getting her lethicite. Until that stuff is written and implemented there's no point in letting you do the Lumia uncaging method because the game wouldn't support any of the post-uncaging content (the game would be trying to call for content that isn't there) and that would probably cause the game to divide by zero. Once the 'proper' way is in the game, all that content will be there and it should be possible for Lumia to remove the cage.

RynQuest is in the coding queue now so it's coming Soon(tm).
