Liking Kasyrra more?

Is it me or did the new Halloween update made Kasyrra lovable. Before I just saw her as "oh another main character who just wants to break me". Now I'm enjoying the little moments where you make her blush wishing for more updates that have this.
Not expecting like redemption or whatever so she falls in love with you and you end up together. Just these nice moments to make you smile.

Kasyrra is great because of that. She's a hands on villain that has a lot more going for her than the previous coc1 big bad demon. So it's natural to like Kasyrra villains can also be lovable even if they do fucked up things.

So far, all of the character have a lot of depth; it's amazing how much work went into concept design. I really hope there's a Kass arc where she realized there's more to sex than just control and pleasure. The pure/corrupt dichotomy in CoC1 made the characters a little cartoonish at times. I hope there are gray-er paths and endings to come.

Agreed, as fun as I had with the first game only a handful of characters caught my interest either by their design(type of race, personality, etc) or their interactions. Sadly with incomplete scenarios it was tough to stay interested as they just turn into someone to lower your lust.
I also agree that a lot of the characters have more depth in this one, even Cait who is my least favorite mostly because I got tired of that one adorable companion who has great interactions but sleeps around alot with others. Though that's more of a personal gripe/saltiness.

I remember Savin joking in one of the backer updates that she was masturbation aid, and while that's pretty funny to think about that literally, I think that encapsulates her vision of what sex is pretty well. It might be that she explicitly tells you in the beginning that there's no chance of you two ending up exclusive that hurts people the most. It might've been easier if there was an option to make her attraction to other people implied rather than explicit.

That being said, I'm not sure Cait is my favorite character, but she might be my favorite character to read. She is dripping with personality in every scene she's in. Ironically, while the sex scenes are well written, it's how she interacts with the world that interests me the most. If you lose to the centaurs while Cait is in your party, there's a moment where she holds your hand and gives you a sad smile, right before they give it to you. There's a dream with Cait and Kyoko which I won't spoil in case you haven't seen it, but her dialogue afterward is perfect. In the newest update she conjures Lovecraftian horrors not because she wants weird sex, but because she'll try stupid and dangerous things if it'll save her sister. It's the small details that sell the characters in this game; like you said, they feel like real people with personalities rather than a button to lower your lust.

Oh I completely agree. My dislike is more personal (or at least when I play serious and less perverted x3) but I still enjoy her character. Like I said before it's more saltiness because I want my adventurer to have that character to himself, doesn't mean I hate the game for not letting me. I can't wait to continue the game as it gets more updates with Cait how she worries for you with any possible dangers such as with the kitsunes

Oh really? The only moments I had Cait go sexual while in my party was when I was at the camp with the kitsunes. While I get a relaxing massage she has a lesbian threesome but I just roll with it because I'm use to it. The other situation is when saving the harem and again I let her have the fun while I just wait for them to finish since Cait joined in. I guess it makes sense given how not everyone would like to know that your bf/gf use to sleep with your best friend who you knew that slept around with everyone

Wow, I honestly have no words but to say part of me understands the slight annoyance. Though I usually only go for the females who usually wouldn't get with Cait (unless I didn't notice) either way it's in her character.

I wasn't even aware this was a thing. While it might be a scenario that's more realistic than we would like to admit, It's kinda low for a porn game. Maybe HugsAlright (or whoever wrote the scene) can balance it out by having the Champion eavesdrop on Berry calling out their name while they fuck Cait

I'm torn on whether I love this or I hate this. In one sense, it really would feel shitty for a character you like to call out someone else's name during sex. I imagine a lot of players try to insert themselves into the Champions shoes and in that case it could feel personal. On the other hand, this is the only instance of this I know of in a porn game; not only does it add so much character to Berry, but events like these are what makes the world feel alive. Personally, I would rather characters seemingly live their own lives outside of how they interact with the champion. When characters in porn game's only purpose is to fawn over the PC, it can be pretty immersion breaking. People like this could hypothetically exist irl, but living only for another's sexual gratification sounds like a pretty poor existence. In the case of Berwyn specifically, I remember reading one of his talk options where the champ muses that Berwyn must be quite a bit corrupted from whatever magic his mistress used. Having a character so inundated by the need to have sex that they think of sex even while being relieved is exactly how I'd expect corruption to function.

Edit: Upon thinking about this further, I'm not sure I can blame Cait for this. Sleeping with anyone and everyone who likes the look of her is literally her religion -- the calling she was given to by her god. Telling her to stop sleeping around would be like telling a christian priest to stop giving their nightly prayers.

Not gonna lie; I’m dead curious now if there’s going to ultimately a way to become Kass’s Champion without Bad Ending (probably only going to be an End Game option if that’s the case though, lol). Definitely interested in a “reverse-corrupting” route for her, especially since we get to see more to her besides “Imma corrupt everyone cuz I can, lol”. I love the part that implied she does genuinely love all her children, and it’s kinda sad that apparently demonhood made it so she can’t enjoy normal food anymore. I don’t think the original game gave out much of the downsides of becoming a demon (but I also never took a corrupt route).

In any case, I seriously enjoy the more human aspect being shown of Kass so that she’s more than just some mustache-twirling villain. I already loved her before; I love her even more now. And I hope there will be some main game non-seasonal events that show this other side of her in the future.

Honesty, I’d kill for some repeatable events with Kass too.

Hope we’re also getting a cheat for seasonal events in this game too, because I definitely would LOVE to repeat this without having to savescum.

Okay, turns out the Halloween backstory is a lie according to Word of God Master Analmander, but my statement still stands on the real one (that currently you’ll only find from a bit of doc diving if you don’t mind spoilers). I believe Kassyra is really a lonely soul who deep down misses her humanity and longs for genuine human affection.

Sure, she’s still a corrupt evil demon now, but there’s definitely something left of the person she once was. And maybe, just maybe, she actually wants the Champion’s soul because it reminds her of what she lost.

Either way, in the scene for one of my male characters she desperately wants him to keep his soul even though it partially ruined her orgasm. I think that stood out to me the most. It's strange she goes through so much trouble to be with the champion when the goal isn't to corrupt him/her.
