Levelup Weirdness

I stumbled on something during 1st to 2nd level level-up that I can't explain. It may not be a bug but I've not noticed something like this previously.

As an engineer, leveling from level 1 to level 2:
If I am wearing Naleenscale armor I can only add one (+1) point to willpower - from Willpower 4 to Willpower 5
If I am wearing the Virgin Slayer Sweater of the starter Dress Clothes I can level willpower 4 points from Willpower 4 to Willpower 8.

If I level up willpower 4 points to 8 wearing the Virgin Slayer Sweater and then put on the Naleenscale armor there is no apparent (to me) impact to my stats. I cannot explain the oddity but I've not dumped many points into willpower on previous characters. If this is intentional, sorry for wasting your time.

My character is/was human, 69 inches, thin, brown hair, hazel eyes, willpower affinity, bookworm, engineer and named Katie.

Okay - it's probably intential. I think it has something to do with the resolve bonus on the armor. I can level my willpower to max 10 between first and second level IF I strip all my clothes off.

Personally, I'd say it's a bug. Especially since Max Willpower increases by 1/2 Resolve.

I'd also recommend training with Ramis instead of putting points in Willpower.
