I saw this forum thread about making a Tits based version using things people like me could understand and use. So their was some replies like Inky, Ren'py and inform 7 and then twine. Ive used twine before but i didn't think it could make a game like Tits. Well I am actually gonna start using it so if you don't mind, id like to share what i got so far...

...''As decreed by the Queen of Aahtaer in the year of our Lord and Queen, piracy under any form or act will be punishable by death''...

...50 years earlier...

Your Father, Andrew Cutter, had left to work as a merchant, selling his goods upon the vast ocean named the 'Big Blue".

Camille your mother was the only woman to own a tavern and store despite the ridicule and laughs of the other men.

Your father had supported her ideas and actually sunk their money together, becoming partners, she handled the tavern and mod store while he gathered the ingredients. It was an easy arrangement, and she adored every moment of rubbing her success in front of jealous businessmen.

Andrew traveled the world, bringing and selling interesting creatures, foods, and other goods from the new lands along with other merchants willing to gain coins. Father didn't do it for the money though, the adventure was pay enough for him.

"Oh Hun, it will be as beautiful as any ship fresh from the docks!" she gleamed as she pours the blueprints over the table."It will be a huge task, and money would be needed to secure the building, land, supplies, security, and voyage expenses. Yet, I believe with you by my side, it will be a happy fairy tale for both of us."

Let me know if it sounds choppy, i had to cut some parts as it was about to be a 3 to four page intro.
What I'm looking to do is, to make a naval themed game, with pirates and magic, but yet include the technological advancements of companies being able to modify the body.
It would be a part Pirates and Traders game mixed in with similar gameplay of Tits or CoC.

Please let me know on your thoughts and ideas on maybe what i need to work on, I am by no means a writer but I'll give it my best.

P.S if you have any tips for writing good smut, please let me know. I try not to use complicated weird words to describe things .

"I likeit. It's got that Guns of Infinity ring to it, which i adore. The intro could use a bit more tweaking with the first statement being an eye catcher for time period or Era in which the game takes place as well as setting the mood for the story. Father's a Merchant Navy captain and the mother is a shopkeeper, how they got their start is where it got choppy for me in clarity on idea to make a "mod shop" which could use a alternative name to suit the time period if it makes sense (Transformatives, Curio Shop, Glamour Lab or something of that nature) as a retro-futuristic can work more favorable with the right writer and help.

The biggest thing for you to accomplish and to really work out more than anything is how well does your vision work into the Game Engine that you want to use. If it is a CYOA game in the same vein as TITS then you'll need to borrow or buy Fenfen's engine as it was heavily scripted and handmade by the group for that very specific purpose. I have yet found a game engine that can handle the repertoire of variations of descriptions and support multiple scenes as the TITS and COC engines, plus you'll need very skillful programmers that know that engine inside and out as bugs, scripting errors and a fuckton of glitches in saves will be the end of your writing and game progression if it isn't stomped out. Look at COC for example, Fenoxo's first engine and it had so much of its content hardcoded in such a way, any slightly alterations will unbalance something else in the gameengine that required an entire community to find and fix them. Once Fenoxo started TITS, COC sat on the backburner because it was a clusterfuck that he wanted to get done so he'd never have to touch it again. And for the creator of that engine to say that about his work is telling. So for your sake, think about the things that you want for the engine of your choice to have.

If you plan on doing programming yourself, i suggest starting on a smaller platform and try using an engine that you can comprehend at your level before undertaking a tremendous ordeal. I've tried Choice of Game's engine but it lacked the complexity i wanted, simple to understand and easy to do. Renp'y is good for scene to scene but you'll need to do the artwork if you intend for a more immersive story as most of it realizes on stockimagery which is bleh. I feel, because i'm using it, that Quest is what you could do if you can figure out the tutorial of making the basic commands and it's got the gridmapping you'd see in TITS but be prepared for a world of confusion if you do.

Now, smut writing is a bit different than world building and character driven storytelling. Some of my inspiration is from Marquis De Sade and "Passions in the Bedroom" while learning the style from Fenoxo's games. Someone else will have a different take on the matter which is the point of this statement. Writers are fickle little bitches and can't stand it when it's not going their way when something doesn't work the way they want it to, ergo, they frequently change styles, stance on their work or just simply don't care after a time. So if you intend to have a writer do the work for you, be aware of that mentality if they don't share your same motivation and inspiration for your work, because at the end of the day they have other things to do or want to do something that interests them. Stick to those writers that are motivated by your idea and will stick with it; plus it helps if they have the same tone and vibe as the game, too many writers go off writing crazy shit that don't fit the lore and baseline of the universe you're trying to create (Scat, Watersports, Beastiality, Loli, whatever).

If you want to do your own smut writing, read erotica books and then analyze the style of writing of COC and TITS. Compare notes of the different mediums, books, games, movies, porn videos, dojins, manga, whatever you feel you need to grasp the nugget you're looking for and use that to start out. The best way to tell if your work is good enough to satisfy your audience is if YOU can get your cock hard or pussy wet or ass greased and if you're harder than you could during a porno vid then you found that sweet spot and finish (both yourself and the scenes). The worst kind of smut is the smut you can't get your rocks off to and that in turn gets nobody off, no wet dreams will be had if everyone is flaccid and wishing there was something better. Keep all that in mind. I suggest picking up a thesaurus and a synonym textbook (who am i kidding, nobody reads hardbacks anymore) and read up on paragraph structure and word association. The less repetition of your words the better it sounds and the more creditable your scenes and writing are. If i can say "Fuck" seventeen times and it having a different meaning each time i say it then you better have something following or leading up to it otherthan "Cock" "Pussy" "Asshole" "Asscheeks" or "Tits" mix up the words otherwise it won't make it appealing and it will be boring to read. Cocksleeve / Pussy - Meatrod / Cock - Blackhole / Asshole - Junie Cakes / Asscheeks - Funbags / Tits

You get the picture. Hope this helps." -Grimoire

Thanks for liking it. Yeah sorry about that, there was more but comparing it mine to fits opening scene, it was too long of an intro so I had to cut out the bulk of the story. I wasn't sure people really would read a long intro before their character is even made..

I'm unsure about making my own engine or even buying/hiring someone. I'm unemployed atm and I have free time so I made this. I'm using Twine with sugarcube so it's a CYOA but it will function differently.

I'm unsure of the game engine script and if it can handle variations or multiple scenes but I will, see, it gives a wide play area. I'm right now listing variables, arrays and macros to use.

Here is my revision at least for the first page, right now im stumped with getting the button link to cooperate with me and to let me make it look good.

//...''As decreed by the Queen of Aahtaer in the year of our Lord 001-001-011500, piracy under any form or act will be punishable by death''... //

//...50 years earlier...//
Andrew Cutter, Your father, born to a poor family of seventeen had to be sold at the age of six to a merchant as a cabin boy for 140 reales. His new role as cabin boy was busy as he: washed the decks, brought the captain his food and drinks, shined his shoes along with with cleaning his robe and other duties. During this time, the merchant captain saw it fit to tutor young Andrew to the fine arts of trading. Nine years of tutoring led to a new adventure when the old merchant passed away from Orange Fever. Leaving Andrew with his secret trade journal and ship "Hera" in his will. His life was looking pretty good, as he made deals and traded within his favorite port town on the Blue, Grasbeth on Nanuk island.

Grasbeth is a small port town Nanuk island surround by untamed tree land. The pier was his favorite spot --not because of his favorite tavern " The Roving Schooner", but the beautiful girl that jogged by the place every morning... Camille. Camille De Jouge, the unwanted daughter of the local barkeep, was a beautiful sight to behold for someone of 20. She was different indeed, being a Cannid, more of a Great Dane but she's six feet nine inches of lithe frame and pure curves. Her fur a pure steel blue with a splotch of white around the tip of her left ear. Her thin tail whips proudly behind her gait, making most girls jealous of the attention she gained but never cared for.

Her deep green eyes, angular face, pillow soft D cups, rolling curves, and an arse that would make an empire surrender--dotted her frame. Her father never cared for her as he wanted a son to own the tavern, but all he got were girls: Camille the youngest but tallest, Violet the middle child, and Auru the oldest of the three. Their mother was killed during a runaway cart ran her over, the guy responsible was later put on a Mau' veil: a sort of pit for people to fight each other to settle disputes. He didn't die as you're not allowed to kill, but he did receive some inconveniences: 5 broken ribs, a broken nose, a missing hand, and a lot of bite marks.

Camille's father never let anyone near his daughters, he had a dual blunderbuss framed on his wall to make sure he gets his point across-his daughters are off limits. Andrew had always met up with Camille at the tavern he wasn't noticed by her until a few weeks (and hard drinks) later.

"Well morning Andrew, isn't this a lovely day for rum?" As she sat down on the bar chair, hand filled with tankards and Dogwood Rum. "Why don't you sit next to me pup and let me pour you a drink?" She motions her finger with a come hither motion as Andrew walked towards her, snatched an open chair and sat next to her at her table. She poured the red liquid into two silvery tankards, a ring of rust camped at the bottom of the cups.

Andrew knew he was a lightweight but he also knew it was his chance to pop a question, as he purchased a ring for 10000 reales. Camille happily held her cup and started to chug it down as Andrew reached into his pocket and pulled out the ring.

"Would you marry me?" Andrew yelled in a sudden outburst. So sudden Camille actually spit the drink out as it hit some poor fellow fully on the face. The room was dead quiet and all eyes were now gazing at Andrew and Camille.

Also i was looking at some fonts, I found some but unsure if i should use them.

While i wait for the program to get fixed as i encountered a bug...ill be rewriting the intro again. Its gonna be a bit before my particular problem gets resolved so ill upload the new intro and link it on here. I need to take notes on how people write stuff(smut).

I better get to practicing how to draw as well, i know i can doodle but drawing is a degree i haven't achieved yet.
Here is the new version of the intro, I hope it isn't too long and more connected

Stay awesome.

No new story content yet, sorry...It will be done though. Take a look at the docs if you will to see if I have missed anything.

:DI made some progress today, the player is now able to enter their name and have it recalled back along with being able to choose a species!(human and orc (Orcanian) for now- using a potion called Orcanite).
It's actually moving along, slowly, but moving.

Problem 1. Item naming: Naming things, especially the transformation items...

Solution 1: random name generator
Solution 2: using scientific names for the potions( Orcanian or Orc made from ground Orcinite leaves.) Maybe this is the best one?
solution 3: just slam words together.

To go with the setting(between 1500-1800) so piracy, but also scientific progress, settlements, pillaging,trading,...etc.

thinking is now in session

So far, i got the name input intro races your character can be done. Its only 5 so far so human, orc, elf, canid and hyaen can be picked as of now. You can also pick your players gender as well so, life's good!

The intro is almost done and then it will be figuring out the main stuff

Now to figure out dicks and cunts. How do they work again?

Hmm, i'm thinking about if i should use a different platform, twine is okay but i don't know how much it can handle, i was thinking either visual basic or unity but unsure.

Unity is...pretty advanced for me. the struggle is real, so I'm going back to Twine and doing some thinking.

ugh.png

Hello everyone;
I am still trying mess around with godot and figuring out stuff atm (pretty slow), i probably will just need to grab one function (node) in godot and just mess with it to figure out what it does.
Anyways I have made this revision to the main menu from previous try, and it looks a bit better(hopefully). However, there are a few problems that need to be sorted out so i can finally leave the main menu screen:

1) The black arrows that surround the dark blue square background are 3 panels i had to eyeball into position so my first thing would be to figure out how to get them to be the size i need them to be without it changing sizes with a click or just anything weird(unity had that fixed). The panels are huge as well and very blocky so ill need to stylize and finess them as the side panels will hold stats and the bottom panel will hold things that the character can use and stuff like that.

2) the white arrows point to the endless blue background that will be visible if the program gets expandedno.png and shows a little bit of panel not flushed well.it doesn't expand to fit to fullscreen well so i need to mess around with that (maybe in the settings?)

3) the buttons will need to be labeled and have a script for when being pressed(new game, load, save ,exit) and do whatever it needs to do(new game needs to switch to another scene, exit needs to abort the game, ect.)

4) those are just labels with words written on it so not to fancy but everytime an "update" would happen i would have to just backspace some numbers or words. maybe figure out a streamlined way?

5) just understanding godot in general, the youtube vids help a bit but its still a growing program and still needing lots of vid coverage.Documentation is alright but still can still have a visual aspect to it.

6)figuring out this thing.hmm.png The orange arrows show 2 blue lines that matches up with a pink line(im assuming y axis) and green line (assuming x axis) which creates a nice little rectangle. So i assume that its the spot where the camera is? but im not sure if im right

breakthrough.png I had a breakthrough and with some documentation help, The main menu is now 60% done!
I had a lot of issues but jeez its great to finally figure out a good portion, Ive done away with the panels and went back to unclutter everything.Back to basics.
I still have the ridiculously huge space but now its a huge space for an image(red arrows)and even worse in full screen...
The layout is split in two(green line) and there is space (orange arrow) that i could use but ill figure it out step by step.

Looks good (still more keen on using Quest, but whatever) the coding looks a bit time consuming. Are you using ActionScript by any chance? Someone mentioned it on a thread that that's what COC and TITS uses to make the engine, might be something worth checking out if godot isn't working out. Anyway, stopped by to give you the heads up.

No.Godot uses it's own thing(GDScript) but it is able to use C#(fairly new and may have problems) and VisualScript (im assuming similar to visual basic script). I'm pretty sure it can support other coding languages like Python(GDScript is similar to Python) but it's still fairly new.
All of that you see for right now has 0 code.So the reasons it takes me a bit(besides not having time) is that the containers(margin, center, vbox, hbox) all have different functions and default for some reason. So moving the Xbox container which holds the buttons would default back into the corner. And apparently "anchor" doesnt do what i thought it would do and keep the thing where i wanted it.

However it feels a little easier to use than unity so that's a plus.Still needs more documentation pictures and videos as it's fairly new.

It's just getting all 4 containers to play nice and not default is the problem, in fact making sure everything you use doesn't default on you is a pain.

Coding the buttons will be done later since now it's looking better, if the center container (red arrows) where a image would go could stop defaulting on me, it would be a very pleasant thing.
However, if Visual Script is similar to visual basic, i can kinda float by for a few instances as i have taken 1 class(extreme beginners course) and had to buy a book(unfortunately i did not read a majority of it and the rest i did read i didnt understand) so i kinda had to hit my head (harder later on).
I think i also had a book for python but i cant remember what site it is on. :( I should have kept the reciept...

Im an idiot, so godots visual scripting is not the same as visual basic scripting which i thought it was. I was really wrong, its more of a Visual way to see what your code does. I just read the title and assumed it was Visual basic scripting. It is a neat feature though and i just learned about it today and the only reason i figured out what it was is by actually reading the documentation on it as i was having a hard time trying to make the exit button when clicked close the application using visual basic code.
