So leithans have a difficult time breeding with other species right? So if you chose to be half leithan at the start of the game, can you only breed with ellie?

no you can still breed with anyone but it will allow you to breed with ellie without having to take her to uveto to get a procedure done by doctor lessau to increase her firtility to the point any species could impregnate her

I guess that is where the human part kicks in. Maybe that could be a head canon explanation why your kids are always half human, you could chalk it up to the leithan part of you not being compatible?
