Story:​

A super-massive black-hole is continuously expanding in the center of a universe on the verge of collapse. Entire civilizations have been destroyed, others have escaped... for a while. No one is safe.​

You are the leader of a world facing obliteration. Will you find a way to escape the impending doom?​

Style:​

LDOFU is a visual novel with less text and more pictures than regular visual novels. It's closer to a comic but with choices. It will be divided in episodes but in a single game. It will feel like playing old Star Trek episodes but with sex scenes. You play a character that is a leader so you will have to make important decisions for the future of your population. Visually, the pictures are 3D rendered using DAZ, Blender and Terragen.​

Progress:​

The female prologue is complete and episode 1 is started. The male prologue is started.​

Inspirations:​

Including but not limited to: Star Trek TOS, Babylon 5, the art of Moebius, Star Wars and more.​

Sex Scenes:​

The sex scenes will include same sex and opposite sex activities. For now there are mostly lesbian and some male/female sex scenes.​

Versions:​

There are two versions of the game, one for Patreon supporters ($5 or more) and a public version. The only difference between the two versions is that the public version has a few images that are not visible but the game is the same.​

This looks really promising on the visual side. Although my brain can't seem to accept your premise of some kind of super black-hole engulfing the entire universe. Super-massive black holes exist at the center of every (we think) galaxy, much in the same way as a star (unless it's a binary or trinary system) is at the center of every solar system. Also, you say the black hole is expanding from the center of the universe, ignoring the fact that as far we know black holes could never reach let alone sustain such a size, the universe itself is expanding incredibly rapidly so its likely the black hole would actually never endanger any part of space it isn't already occupying. So I might be being too... logical about the background of a space-based hentai game, but like I said, my brain just couldn't accept this premise.

The operative words are "a universe on the verge of collapse". Not following the assumed rules of physics in just the universe we are aware of. After all - imagination is what fuels all sf-based fantasy (and in porn fantasy a different way to get laid). I'm willing to bend a few rules...

I am working on it, there should be a new release soon. There will be other characters but for now you are surrounded by "clones".

The prologue of the game is now finished and the game will now save and load. Be aware that if you reach the end of the game and exit, the game will be saved and will resume at the end so you will have to start a new game when a new release is available. This will be corrected in the next release.

New Release! Episode 1 has started. Changes have been made to the save file format so that it will be more compatible with changes to the game. The save file of the previous version will be ignored but you can now start directly at a specific episode when starting a new game.

Is this new addition available to both versions or just the paid for version? Also it may be in your best interest to update your original post about well the updates due to the fact it is quite barren and in my experience its easier for both parties to update the original every once in a while

I have started color grading almost all the current images of the game to make them look a little brighter and more lively. I have also added a few lens flares. You can see a before & after comparisons of some images that have been processed. The improved images will be in the next release of the game.

New Release!

This release has had almost all the images of the game (now over 600) color graded. The color grading improves the image quality and makes them look even better. They will generally look more contrasted and a little brighter (depending on the images). Some lens flares have also been added when appropriate.

Since I had to work on almost all of the images of the game for the grading I have taken the opportunity to recompress most images to make them smaller in size while keeping them large enough to not see (or very minimally) compression artifacts. This means that even with the 69 new images (male story) of this release, the game size is a little smaller than last month's release. I thought that it would be better to reduce each image size since the final release will probably have thousands of images and their size will help keep the game zip files a reasonable size.

New Release! (New Release Schedule)


Starting with this release, releases will mostly be made near the beginning of the month instead of near the end. The public releases will continue to follow the Patreon releases by a few days.

This release doesn't continue the male or female story, it contains changes to the game itself. I have cleaned the code to be able to return to the main menu when the ESCape key is pressed instead of exiting the game and to be able to add an unlocked sex scenes menu. It will make it possible to eventually have a Load and Save game menu so you will be able to keep more than one save per story. The cleaning also means that the previous saved games won't work anymore but I have included saved game files so you won't have to restart the stories. You just have to copy the files from the SavedGames folder over your saved game files. The Extras.bin files unlocks all the current sex scenes.

When playing the game you will now see a little heart in the bottom left corner of the screen. When the heart contains a '+' you can click it to add the current image to a list of favorite images. The image will be removed from your favorites when you click on the heart that shows a '-'. You can access your favorite images from the Extras menu. You can also play them as a slideshow with a custom delay between each image.

Here are all the changes for this release:

- Reorganized menus
- Save game file format has been modified
- Included Saved Games and unlocked scenes files
- Added Unlocked Sex Scenes, Favorites with slideshow, Random Stuff & Credits in the Extras section
- Image will now remain Full screen or Fully visible when resuming a game
- ESC key now returns to the previous menu (or exits the game from the main menu)
- You will be returned to the main menu after you've reached an ending
