So, I know she has different personalities she can grow into; is it possible to tell how she's learning from scenes involving her and her mother in the amulet? Reason I'm asking instead of searching is because I'm trying to keep spoiling here to a minimum, and I have a feeling that if I search and I'm not careful about it I'm going to get spoiled to hell and back. So, do any of scenes (I.E., her playing the shakuhachi badly) imply anything about how she's growing up, or is it all just floof?

There you go. Though it's not spoiled and not-spoiled so much as 'dutiful social phenom princess who loves her mother but is kind of distant with you/everyone' and 'independent antisocial farmgirl who hates her mother and kind of everyone but is warm with you'.

If she's playing the shakuhachi, she's leaning towards antisocial farmgirl.

EDIT: I just realised that you meant 'spoil' as in spoiling the narrative rather than spoiling the child. So the wiki link probably isn't helpful.

But as I said before, if she's playing the shakuhachi poorly you're leaning towards the farmgirl Kinu. Pick options that flatter her vanity, honour her mother, and encourage her to take on emotional labour for princess, encourage her to be earthy, honest, and direct for farmgirl.

Eh, I've been trying to make choices all around that make sense in-context for my character rather than trying to metagame (and yup, I meant narrative spoiling!). Kinu's options were actually harder, because I had to try and get in her head to figure out what made the most sense for a kid being raised in a very different culture from my character (though, some were easier than others, kids being kids and all) would do (and the kid is also a mischievous fox). I just wasn't sure when the influence kicked in; kind of cool that it's already kicking in before I try to free everyone from the orb. I didn't start getting these scenes until now, so I'm assuming the choices I made were balancing each other out until one or the other tipped the scale a bit in one direction, kind of neat. Thanks!
