Any insights into what the plan on the colosseum might be? Presumably there will be competition that the player can participate in for fun, profit, adoration, etc.
If such battles or challenges are planned, are they looking to be one-on-one battles, ala MC vs Layla sparring or will it be squad battles where you have yous team against another group? Will it be a mix of the two, where you might fight a 3-man squad in one round or day and another where MC must face a lone opponent (unless they summon)?
Will there be other events planned, like races or hurdles (we know a lot of cowgirls love their running), javelin throwing or ship-to-ship naval battles or barrel-tossing? I can see how those might not be great for PC interaction, so maybe they'll just be mentioned as background during the other scenes.

I was contemplating suggesting some possible gladiators/fighters or bouts if such events were an option when the colosseum opens.

We only have a few hints here and there, but enough to know that there are plans for multiple fights, that you're intended to be able to spectate as well as participate and that a 'stretch goal' for it is a challenge mode where various NPCs might show up. We also know it's Wsan's next Big Project after Brihaus.

Oh, and Wsan mentioned that the arena itself is meant to be sexless (but things may happen in the corridors that the public doesn't see) and Savin mentioned that he'd like some form of naval combat minigame.
