So we finally catch a glimpse of Kass’s background in the Halloween event and of course that led me to be poking around until I came across the doc containing the concept of her.
I notice there’s a much different background given in there, but at the same time, the starting experience and various main story paths turned out to be very different so I’m curious if the background is actually changed to have her be some cowgirl mage who accidentally got onto a path of magic addiction or if that’s more a metaphor and the daughter of one of the mages in Mareth is still the backstory?
Personally, I like the humble (if still tragic) beginning story, though certain elements like being the one responsible for trying to create dragon generals a la Kiha are still nice touches.
