is there a full game or something if I support TiTS?

So I've been playing TiTS for a while now via the link on Fenexo's blog, and it's pretty damn awesome. However, when I try to play via the TiTS website, it doesn't let me and says I have to be a supporter. is that a full game or something? like the one I've been playing is a trial version? forgive me if this isn't the proper place to post this, I joined this site just to ask this question.

The backer version is a few updates ahead of the free version. Usually, you're only missing a few weeks worth of developed content, which amounts to either a few bug-fixes or a new character.
