is there a date for the save editor to be released?

Wasn't it supposed to be released a year after work on TiTs started? Or was that about the end of backer releases? I remember something was supposed to happen after a year.
Once the game hits 1.0 or whatever (whenever Fenoxo determines that to be) the game is supposed to be current-version-free-to-the-public for a whole year afterwards, rather than backer builds and public builds. That may be the year thing you're thinking about.
But no, there was never any sort of official announcement or promise to ever release any kind of save editor to the public, ever. Fenoxo did mention a couple times on the old forums that he's considered the idea of eventually releasing the editor to the public for a price somewhere down the line, but that's about it.
