Is pheromone sweat always a good thing to have on you?

My initial instinct is that it should be universally better, but I don't know for sure

Also, what are the ways to increase your pheromone level? The wiki is woefully inadequate in explaining how pheromones work

Thats because there is woefully inadiquate baselines for how pheromones are supposed to function. They increase tease damage, and alter/unlock smut scenes, but beyond that is largely unregulated.

Currently their are 4 ways to raise pheromone level. 2 on New Texas 2 on Uverto the two on New Texas are Sweet Sweat obviously and the second is the male/brute version of the Treatment. On Uverto the items are Lupinol which grants the Alpha Scent Perk and Amazona overdose which grant the Jungle Queen Scent perk all of these raise pheromone level by 4 per perk if I remember correctly.

As for scenes they change/unlock I have no clue but I do think that it boosts regular tease attack damage and while not in the game I think their is a NPC being written going by the name "Raya the whore catboy" or something similar who had some scenes that changed depending on pheromone level.

Do you know if the Alpha Scent perk requires you to stay wolf-morph? I would like to nab it, but I don't want my character to be a wolf-morph

Flower Power, too, has effects on NPC that are essentially equivalent (and IIUC, stackable) to the ones of the four pheromone Perks you mention. However I do not know if the game deals with the effect of Flower Power's pollen by making it part of pheromone level, or as its own thing.
