Invincible Overseer Maike?

Is there a way to beat her, or is she purposefully just not possible to defeat in-game?

No matter how much damage I do (with the Lash Cannon, no less), that lust whip of her is an "I Win" button and she always wins. I've tried popping Focus Pills like they're M&Ms, but it doesn't work.

As long as you dont struggle when she grabs you and dont take forever, Maike should be a decently easy fight. Whats your loadout?

I'm a level 10 Tech Specialist. My gear is:

Armor: Steele Tech Suit
Shields: Prototype Pirate Shield
Ranged Weapon: Lash Cannon
Melee Weapon: Petra's Phasic Whip

Seriously, when she proved this problematic, I used the Save Editor to go loaded for bear. It doesn't help. My current libido is only 5, and popping Focus Pills doesn't help as she just does too much Lust damage so darn fast. I even picked up the Ice Cold perk, but it doesn't seem to be helping either.

I'm a new player, so I guess I'm missing something obvious, but I just can't figure out what. Are there any special tricks or items I should be using? Right now, the only solution I can think of is to edit in her Keycard and then avoid her completely, as it looks like she simply cannot be defeated by any conceivable means in combat. Is it that Tech Specialists can't beat her?

Also still trying to figure out where to use that space suit and helmet. Is there an airlock around there someplace? The wiki doesn't have a map for the pirate base available.

I just spammed flashbang and had exactly zero problems. Not much experience with a tech specialist. Buy regular flashbangs?

I'm a level 10 Tech Specialist, and she posted zero problem. Your weapons even deal more damage than mine.

If lust generation is an issue for you, I believe you could try to get Beta's Satisfcation from Ardia, by sucking her off and then swallowing.

This perk decreases the lust 'damage' you get from attacks. Be wary though, this means you're effectively addicted to her.

Also, maybe double-check if you're still wearing the Slave Uniform when trying to fight her? Might wanna wear something with proper resistances instead.

After the comments here, some further wiki research, I think I 'll try this:

Fire Flashbang
Throw Aphro Daisy (40 Lust damage)

And just keep repeating that sequence until she's hopefully down for the count. Thanks and wish me luck.

Dr.Lash isnt too bad either.

Turns out spamming flashbangs is a pretty effective strategy when the enemy doesnt have any blinding resistances.

Are you meant to tease her? I just beat her into submission with my Phasic Whip.

OP, is your build ranged or melee? You're using both Petra's Whip and the Lash Cannon and both tank your evasion something fierce. If you're a ranged Tech there's no point in using the Phasic Whip as it has no passive benefits. Also try using Paralyzing Shock, was pretty effective in my case and usually took her out for 2-3 rounds at a time.

The room you fing the Spacesuit in is an airlock. You use the helmet when you also have the incomplete spacesuit in your inventory and they both combine into a functional spacesuit. Once you have that you can spacewalk from either the hangar or the airlock. You don't *need* to fight Maike to progress as it's possible to bluff her or sneak into the Forge level with the Slave Uniform.

Can you recommend any particular outfits or armors? According the wiki Armor page, the Slinky Black Omnisuit has -25% Tease resistance. I'm still trying to work out what the negative numbers mean under the defensive item entries.

Negative resistances pretty much means that you're taking extra damage from that source. IE the Omnisuit's -25% Tease resistance means you're taking an extra 25% Lust damage from tease attacks (In contrast positive resistances mean the damage you take from that source are reduced). SteeleTech Suit is a good basic armor for Techs, although if you can get the Premium Armstrong Suit or the Modded Yellow Clothes they're better. The Atma Armor Mk1 is also an interesting alternative as it offers resistance against Lust attacks.

I think I may have found the issue - going through the mines (and fighting the mining robots), I ended up with a bunch of Savicite in my possession. According to the wiki, that really jacks up your Lust gain in combat. I'll have to remember to ditch that stuff or store it on the ship as soon as I find any.

Yeah Savicite will do that to you. It also doesn't hurt to fap before the fight.

One thing I'd like to point out is that Maike will take to the air at one point of the fight and if you don't have the melee Merc's Lunge perk, you're not going to hit her with melee weapons. If you're absolutely set on beating her via standard combat, you need to DPS her hard and fast from the start. The longer the fight goes, the worse things get for your Lust. Either that, or use an item that stuns and stun lock and rock her. My cum-cow melee shield tech was having problems with her taking flight during the battle. Wound up beating her two ways: 1. using a melee weapon with stun to lock her down and 2. Going hard on her with melee until she takes flight and then spamming Gravidic Disrupters until she went down.

Or you can just use tease.

If you have 50 Intelligence, Charge Weapon, and Gravidic Disruptor, literally nothing in the game can beat you, though Quadommes can come close. Especially with your shield, even if you're a Drone Tech. If you're ranged instead of melee, then you'll be weaker, but certainly not weak. However, I have a feeling it's all on the savicite.

dump all the lust inducing rock out of your inventory. trust me if you have that shit in there you are gonna lose. if its not that no idea.
