I recently attempted to complete the 'In Love and War' quest given by Sierva (One of Lieve's trench wives), but I'm unsure if I did it right. The wiki told me to talk to the soldiers guarding the checkpoints around Gildenmere, which I did learning she was probably KIA. I went to tell Sierva, and the quest completed. However, it gave me a different reward than listed on the wiki, and the ending seems pretty dour and anticlimactic. Did I do the quest wrong, or is that just the entirety of the questline?
