My main problem with RPG Maker games is they ask for RTP...

My main problem with these complaints is that, even with very limited memory on my cheap-ass laptop, I've already downloaded the RTP's for the 3 types of RPGMaker people usually use.

What worries me about this game is that it probably won't appeal to me. Most of these "married woman seeks independence/job/money and gets corrupted" stories go straight to creepy older fat guys basically raping her repeatedly and that somehow resulting in her becoming a total slut. It gets really unpleasant when literally everyone around these women are doing things to her and then threatening to tell her family if she doesn't let them do even more, and somewhat immersion breaking when she magically starts to enjoy the rape and become super slutty. Doesn't help that there's rarely any real progression on the corruption and it goes straight to groping and forced oral within the first day or two of the game (usually about 5-10 minutes play time) with full blown sex on the next day.

If we are talking about what annoys us by these types of game, and noted I play these types of games a lot, WEB, Lida's adventure, Valley of Lily, Elena's life, New Paths, Sarah's life, and I'm pretty sure there some I can't remember off the top of my head or just haven't played yet; my pet peeve is 2 things.

1. these are women in their mid-twenties the to mid thirties and yet all seem to have the critical thinking skills of 10-year-old girls. Like when they are directly being sexually harassed or assault, they don't realize it.

2. The majority of the time, the manipulation used to corrupt them, really isn't that smart, the corruptor has no real hold or power on them, hell most of the time their whole plans can be ruind if the woman would just go to the cops after being molested, or after the first molestation return to work with a hidden recording device to have evidence before reporting it.

Majority of the time its always some ambigious reasoning on why she won't/can't leave or even a coup out reasoning that no one would even blame her for if she had quit/left/reported. This is a problem that plagues a lot of corrupting hentai in general. One reason I like mind control/hypnosis general is atleast there is a level of control there. Part of the reason rthey don't tell there is usually because they can't. Either because they don't/can't remember it even happen or can't break the mental domination.

I feel the same way, but what I was talking about goes beyond a mere pet peeve. I tried Elena's Life last night and was extremely uncomfortable throughout most of it. Then immediately deleted the game after her fiance's son said that her daughter could sleep in the streets cause he wants a $100 phone by next week, or he'll destroy her relationship with his dad. That's not corruption, hell it's not even really blackmail because Elena didn't actually do anything she needed to hide. But that little shit was still going to get his way regardless of the consequences to others, and it was pretty obvious she'd eventually be throwing herself at him even after that. The difference between that and actual corruption or hypnosis is like the difference between CoC "rape" scenes and a live action porno where the woman is struggling and begging the men to stop. Even if you know for a fact she's acting the imagery is still disturbing. At least to me.

The main MC model wasn't bad, but there is very little for me to make an actual assessment on right now. The dialogue was a little hard to piece together at some small points,but over all there was enough to follow the story. I'll just keep watching to see where this goes.

Elena's Life falls a big victim to my number one, she could have ended all that and put that little shit in his place on day way simply by telling her husband that it freaking happened and even tell her husband what his son sad, but like a 10 year old trying to hide the fact someone else did something wrong, she didn't. On top of that had the weakest premises for defending why she wouldn't tell him.

I still play them, but that's only because like with every adult game, I have to turn off my suspension of disbelief or I'd be tearing the stories apart like it was the plot of a Michael Bay movie.

Live action, animation, written text, i really don't have much problem with rape genre. If I'm being brutally honest it is probably my number one fetish. When looking for fap material. So i can watch it without much problem live action (which i will tell you, most live action of this isn't that great. Majority of the decent ones you can guess the country it comes from), animation, or w/e.

It's just the logic behind why the victim doesn't go to the cops or report it in the stories that make me bash my head in. Especially in modern day stories, doubly especially in stories where the attacker is wide open, not hiding their identity, and is basically leaving obvious evidence that would easily get convictions.

Like nothing is ever freaking thought out...

But we should end this conversation here, since this is way off topic a d contributes nothing to op really.

Otherwise I'll cringe at the amount of games with characters treating having a lot of sex as the worst crime ever as they stay oblivious to actual punishable things being commited against themselves without thinking of paying a visit to the nearest police station or noticing they can just walk away.

I like "moral corruption" and BBM characters, but that isn't enough to turn a blind eye to such excuses for a filmsy plot and lack of believable progression.

Just to play the devil's advocate, fantasy smut is guilty of it just as much as modern day smut, if not more so. While with fantasy you can get away with a lot more because its suppose to be nonrealistic, it makes no since a lot of times how the corruptee seems to ignore that fact as well and says nothing to anyone or even take some of the more direct options to fight back.

Also, I never understood this "consensual-ish scenarios" scenario stuff, I tend to hate it because it's usually even less realistic and more "She wanted it but didn't want it" logic that ruins the whole scene for me. Especially when its written that she goes from not wanting sex to just falling in love with the rapist all in the same scene with no real development to show that was even possible

Indeed, fantasy smut often has very horrible issues going on. Myself, I loathe certain stereotypical hentai tropes that seem to leak here and there. And, as I said, I despise the lack of believable progression. But I'm okay with some reluctance at first. Ideally for me, all parties would want it and would experiment with things over time.
