I'm currently 30 days in on a save file in chrome incognito but I'm worried that if I close the window my file will be lost. When I try to save to file it says "attempting to save to file..." but doesn't actually download. How can I save a file for my character?

...Incognito deleting cookies is one of its features. It's also known for messing up a plethora of other things, including Save to File. That file was lost the moment you started playing. The only advice I can give is to abandon it, download TiTS, and play it offline. And stop using Incognito; it's one of those half-baked ideas made to appeal to lazy people, but it just wasn't thought through very well.
