I had it on my old computer and now I got a new one and for the life of me I can't remember how to open swf files and I know I used adobe flash player but now apparently I can't find flash player on my pc or something or I'm dumb. I just can't figure it out anymore.

Flash has been depricated out of most browsers. You'll need to either download a stand-alone flash player (Google's your friend), or else start using the Adobe AIR version, which runs just like a desktop app. Personally, I've started using the latter.
