I downloaded the game on my laptop but not sure if I am notified when updates are available for this version. Do I just have to uninstall and reinstall when I think a new update is available for non-backers?

It's not super important, but I guess the client could check the website for the latest version.

I'm considering doing it tbh. Mainly because I'm also considering dropping in some means of reporting typos and stuff into the client too, where you can highlight the typo and smash a hidden keybind or something and it'll autosubmit enough information for us to track it down. (And maybe also include a copy of charater/gamedata so we can replicate it exactly without having to play twenty questions to get everything we need).
