How to get into Winter City? Gytha won't let me pass

I know I need to get to the Winter City to advance In Her Footsteps, but how??? I've beaten Gytha a multiple times on different saves and I am at the end of my rope. No one else seems to have encountered this issue (bug?), am I missing an obvious step?

I beat the Alraune, get to the Frostmarch, encounter Kasyrra, fight my way to the entrance to the city, beat Gytha, and then get told by her to find an alternate path (???).

I have been playing browser and windows versions.

OK. I figured it out, yes it was something incredibly obvious that I missed.

You beat Gytha, the game text tells you that you'll just have to find another way in, AND THEN YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO JUST ENTER. If you go back the game will make you fight Gytha for entrance again, and the same text repeats on winning.

I'll leave this up for anyone else who gets confused by this encounter. Trust that I'm facepalming so hard.
