How to get hardlight strap on

I got the anti grav jock and the upgrade but the option isn't opening please help

The Anti grav jock doesn't come with a hardlight strapon. You can either get the under garments at Aliss's store on Tarvos and pay for the upgrade to the piece or buy the thong from the Uveto shop.

There's also the hard light upgrade that comes as a drop from the random encounters on Uveto

...wait that only upgrades existing hardlight installations.

Also, why would the hardlight jock have a strap-on?
