How do you start the Plantation Quest?

I'm currently level 8 and trying to start the quest but if i get to the north of the jungle it says "There's no reason to go traipsing off to the north... for now" and i don't know what to do.

Please help

Go to the plantation, go through all of the available talk options the owner gives you, and then wait a few days. You should get an email requesting your help after that.

Pretty sure you have to sex Able. I tried waiting on a save where I'd already done all the talkings, spent a good few weeks. Reloaded save, sexed Able, got the email right after without needing to wait.

This is true. I didn't sex Able either and I got an e-mail as I left to do something on Tavros. Did take the bath and sleep though.

Prerequisites are finish the Tarkus Tether Dungeon, be level 6 or more, and used all of Darnock's talk options. You'll get an email if these are true.
