I am stuck on the first stage of the Lumia Quest/Shadows Over The Sun, I have tried reducing my corruption to zero from some rumors I heard that stated that might be the problem. I've wandered the Glacial rift after getting the quest a ton and just don't get any encounter. I have Brint and Cait as my companions, and I have recruited Atugia which i heard is important.
How do you encounter the Valkyries in the Glacial Rift

If you haven't encountered Annika yet, the prerequisite is you need to have progressed Winter Wolf to the point that you've completed the Abyssal Depths dungeon. After that, it's a combat encounter you're more likely to proc by clicking Pick Fight.
It takes quite a while to trigger Annika's encounter in glacial rift since if u use the explore page, you are competing against item-finding events, multiple enemy npcs encounter, and even non-hostile encounter like Gianna's caravan sometimes. It took me solid 5 minutes for me to find her once.
Figured out the issue, I didnt like the centaur stuff and so ive been avoiding it, but thats the prerequisite for Gweyr, whichi s inturnthe prerequisite for that, I thought i had completed them since I've done it before and couldn't encounter Gweyr.
