How do you check your bow skill in TiTS?

I can't for the life of me find the stat for it, if there even is one.

Also as a side note, anybody have an idea when we're getting the next public release build?

There is no "bow skill" per se, but you should do 13 sessions with Tanis to get everything from him. (Concussive Shot + Tanis' Bow.)

Next public build would be around....let see...think two or more weeks from now still.

As for bow skill. It not exist as bow is just an another type of range weapons that you can equip. Only training 12 times giving you special perk when using bows but aside of that there is almost no difference from bow to say Salamander Rifle (only difference is in dealt dmg/it type/other modificators to hit target).
