Help with ramis

is there some hidden scale or something to her for her arm wrestling? i cannot beat her. i'm as masculine as can be. i toned my character to the max. what am i missing? i can't beat her a single time...and yet i see that clearly one is supposed to be able to. please and thank you.

Update:

nevermind. went in and lowered my characters level to 8 to see if it was something like a scaling thing along those lines. something worked as i did it once again and managed it. guess i did something to accidentally break the game haha.

Your actual strength wasn't good enough. No matter how you looked, you simply weren't that strong.

Lowering your level worked because stats function by giving you a percentage based on the max possible score, determined by level, divided by your actual score, and when you lower the max possible score your percentage jumps up. It's a weird quirk, as a level 1 with 5 Physique can perform better than a level 10 with 40 Physique, or whatever stat is required.
