Hi, so in my new run I tried doing some things in different orders, and didn't sneak in with the slaves before I got the helmet from Maike, because I'd never fought the outside boss mech thing before. But now, even when wearing the slave suit, I'm not getting the prompt to sneak in. Does this mean I can never meet Ardia?? I'm really bummed if that's the case because I already saved over previous results, and I'm ~300 days in to this file so it's not like I can just go back and redo everything. Any help would be appreciated.

You don't have to wear the slave outfit, you just need it in your inventory to proc the sneak in with slaves scene.

The "Sneak In" scene is one time only. If you decide not to take it, you'll never get the option again. Also, despite what the text says, it doesn't actually change what you're wearing (at least in terms of game mechanics), so you can still fight Agrosh in whichever armour you prefer.
I know it's one time only, but it's also disabled if you've already gotten the elevator working with the spacesuit.
