HELP SAVE THE EDITTHIS.INFO SMUT SECTION

Quack, this isnt technically the right forum for this, but if you phrased it a bit better you could certainly made it work better.
So I guess ill step in.
Editthis.info is a create your own story website (CYOA). It contains a large variety of interactive fiction. And of course if someone is talking about it here, it must have a smut section no? The smut section is near the bottom of the page. It contains a lot of stories, but personally i would stick with the top ones you see. Those who talk to me on discord know i talk about this website a lot from time to time. I go on here quite a bit. So i think ill go ahead and help a bit and see what i can do
Ill go over the two "Fan Favorite" Stories (Which happen to be the longest) real quick and give you an idea of what kind of madness goes on there.
"Rampage" Quacks favorite story, is where you take the role of a demon that can posses bodies and your job is to bring as much mayhem and chaos as possible. Posses a families oldest son and slowly corrupt the whole family to become his breeder slaves? Yea, thats one thing. Ruin every marriage you can? Par for the course. What about possessing a man to impregnate a woman, then posses the the child growing inside them and bide your time till you can strike again. That ones creepy, but yea you can do it. Of course you could just try killing people.
Rampage is the second longest smut story clocking in at 3,930 Pages which compared to third place which is 1,728, you can see the content difference.
Now my personal favorite is "Smutty Sex Romp". This one actually took me forever to digest for the simple fact of how crazy it is. Rampage certainly could go anywhere with its body swapping thing, but Romp literally has the plot element of "Fuck You Lets Do This!!!" the story is on a semi linear path and it littered with Endings (some of which you can call bad ends). Like holy shit i never knew what to except with this story, it went one way then turned me around and went another. It touches upon almost every fetish, and i mean ALMOST its kinda disturbing. And sidenote the main writer for this story has a serious foot fetish, so expect a lot of..... foot stuff. There's also magic, Afterlife nonsense, transformation, and a plethora of other things.
Im probably missing a lot of stuff talking about this story, but thats kinda easy to do with Romp. I told you guys Rampages Page count above. Well Romps is 17,095.
Thats a lot of pages and i havent found half of them yet, so i dont know if im still missing content.
There are other stories on here that are probably up other peoples alleys but youll have to figure that out on your own.
However this is where i do the warning part. These stories, do not particularity have "limits". If TiTs on the scale of depravity (Outta 10) is a 6 and CoC is a 8 then, some of the stories in the smut section have the capability given YOUR choices if you pick them, to go up to 14. Sometimes i even got disturbed by what i was reading there. Regardless, as much as this argument didnt work in the past (As such with Riya) you can avoid them if you choose to. When you play the stories its in 10--- 92% in your control, you choose how it progresses, its all up to you.
Now onto why good Ol Quackie is here, the Website has been having some trouble lately. A few weeks ago, it crashed for about 5-8 days then came back and would periodically crash again on and off from time to time. While I dont know why, i can assume based on why Quack is here is that it has something to do with the sites age and its lack of.... "writer" activity.
So the site is about go into a full on free fall state and this time its gonna hit the ground, hard. Quack I dont think this was the right place to post this, but still thanks for at least giving me a little more info about one of my favorite websites being fucky.

I think there have been a handful of pages added to the adult section of editthis since someone posted a link to Rampage on the old Fenforums. I say let it die. A lot of the stories (at least the ones longer than 100 pages) tend to have some pretty messed up material. Like, too extreme for CoC messed up. Several of Rampage's story paths lead to a point where your options are to either kill or violently rape someone (many of whom were underaged before new site rules forced the writer to bump everyone up to 18) with no option but to go back and try a different path. CHYOA is more active, better organized, and describes stories by chapter depth instead of number of pages. It is a little annoying that there aren't also page number descriptors and that you need to have an account to view the story map, but overall it's a better site with better stories. You can even find archived versions of abandoned Twine games like Masculine Mystique.

As I said in my post, a lot of the stories do not have ANY "limits" to stop them. Ive read most of the top stories, End of the World, Good Son, Hot and Horny, Smutty Sex Romp, and yes Rampage. Down some paths in these stories its gets really dark. There is violence, which sometimes gets really out of hand, and sometimes there is rape. No, not the rape we've come to know in the Fen games but the actual thing.
Not to offend Quack, but Rampage is a big reason for the sites bad rep. Even if I talked about the story in my last post here, doesnt mean i think its flawless. I mentioned it because for the fact that people like it a lot. Thinking about it some, Editthis.info is kinda the 4chan for smut if I think about it, but thats a different topic. Rampage can get fucked up, really quickly. And I mean REALLY QUICKLY. Both dials can get stuck on 11. There are truly horrifying things in the story, id mention at least one but i wouldnt risk the warning.
Thats not the only problem, the sites old as hell. Its format is crap. Pretty much as Tin said. CHYOA is a better website for CYOA Smut. Its where I go most of the time when im not here. You may be wondering why im saying all this then. Well, I still stand by what i believe and that's that the site still deserves a chance, or at least needs its stories moved somewhere. There are stories on there that arent smut that are really good and there are smutty ones that are awesome. Like Smutty Sex Romp. Though that doesnt mean that the fucked up shit shouldnt be addressed.
Of course though the site will come down eventually regardless, so if anything you could do something this guy did that introduced me to the website in the first place.

We've been talking about CHYOA, so why dont we go more into it? I found this story while browsing and it became one of my guilty pleasures, even though it had a slightly weird format. That was because it wasnt originally from CHYOA. "Shemale Fun" was written on Editthis.info but orangemaestro "rewrote" it onto CHYOA. He/She/It Of course (I posted not the first chapter but the info chapter) said that it wasnt theirs. If you really want to try to save your stories, try and do what orange did, just make sure not to take the credit....
And if you decide to do Rampage, for Lucifer's sake dont put EVERYTHING in there.
