Hey guys, been playing for awhile, just been a lurker on the boards, but suddenly I can't open the .swf file in chrome or firefox! When I try to do so, it just redownloads the game file. Any suggestions/ideas?
Download it then open it in Chrome, should give a white screen if you don't use the html wrapper. If so just hit refresh, if it tries to download then either your Chrome is weird or mine is. You can always turn on allow to run in chrome://plugins just need to be careful about viruses a bit more of definitely use an adblock so nasty flashes don't load.
Same problem here. Last played a month ago (using Chrome) then tried today and clicking on my previously downloaded version to run, makes the game download again. Clicking on the new download... just has it start another download. Starting the .swf in IE or Firefox works fine, but of course don't see my saved games.
Using the info from this page https://wiki.smutosaur.us/TiTS/Save_Editing I was able to copy my saves from the Chrome location to the Firefox(windows 7) location to get my game back.
