Help please, I have saved files as .save but it seems that it needs .coc2 files. any fixes?

I have on .coc2 file but I saved files built upon that file that became .save . I'd liek to get the .save ones back as I have tons more progress. Anyone know what to do? Thanks in advance.

Rename the file, change it from .save to .coc2, or viceversa, depending on which extension you need.
