Has the cybernetic/cyborg stuff seen any work?

With the release of the new cyberpunk npcs in this public patch it's reminded me I haven't seen any updates.
I would really like a cybernetic arm, that'd be great.

I don't know personally, but I would love a cybernetic limb. Not a fan of the cybernetic genitals or oil cum, but I did cheat in the eyes.

Maybe they can take up your ranged weapon slot, and can morph into a rifle that scales with Intelligence and perhaps even some perks from the Tech Specialist tree.

Might be a bit much to make it just for Techs, out of fairness, but maybe like Petra's Whip? I'd prefer a Bow as a ranged weapon, and basically anything that shocks as melee.

Shiro's arm from Voltron?

But mostly I would like it for appearance, it doesn't need a particular function. Headcanon, the cyber arm houses my gadgets, like my weapon charger and Gravidic Disruptor.

What you say about my husband's arm

in all seriousness yes, hell yes and double yes it can and should be done. I just want to be able to go to some seedy old smelly guy and get top of the line black market cybernetics. My steel needs augmentations so I can make bad Deus Ex puns

but I would love a cybernetic limb

Once I met an old pirate on a space dock. I knew he was a veteran by the number of cybernetics he had across his body. Curious, I walked over and struck up a conversation with him. Eventually I asked how he had gotten the cybernetic eyes.
"Oh, these? Got 'em after I suffered retinal burnout from a reactor explosion."
Nodding, we kept the conversation going and then I asked him about the cybernetic arm.
"Oh, this? Got it after me original arm got caught in a bulkhead door that malfunctioned."
Nodding, we spoke some more, when he told me he had a cybernetic dick. I was incredulous and asked how he got that.
"Yeah, I was horny."
He shrugged, seeing my confused look.
"It was the day I got the cybernetic arm"

It's always a shame when sci-fi games have NPCs with cybernetic limbs but try as you might, you won't get any. Even if they'd be a real boon to you.

As Starship Troopers put it: "The army made me what I am today!" *is at least half machine*

But now the question is... Will it make any progress???? Insert over the topic dramatic stare.

Well in all honestly we could use this thread to plan out, debate and brainstorm an actual cybernetic system, the devs do read these after all. Doesn't mean they'll do it but if enough ppl show interest and someone decides to summarize everything we talk about and put it forward as a proposal then... it might just happen.

We already have it planned out. Have for a long while.

Much like ship systems, just needs somebody to finalize and implement them.
