Hello!

I am Unlikely, and I have just published my adult interactive fiction game today. Yay for me!
Hard Times in Hornsville is a sandbox time management game focusing on adult themes, including several fetishes.
The game is focused on player choice and interaction. Compared to similar games the descriptions are shorter but can vary significantly depending on the players looks, statistics and previous decisions. The content is highly modular, separate pairings and fetishes can be accessed independently from each other. You can become a headstrong, dominant transwoman with a huge dick or a freakishly muscular but meek man working as a submissive housemaid.
The game currently contains more than 350k characters (about 70k words) worth of text, over 50 3D rendered images and a dynamic player avatar.
This release is considered an alpha state of the game with about 1/3 to 1/5 of the planned content ready.

Current content:

Pairings (from most to least common): MF, MM, FM, FF

- MM content in this game means actual gay content (sex between men), not just the player getting transformed into a woman and then sucking some dicks.
- The more extreme transformations are currently contained in Bad Ends
- All currently available endings are Bad Ends

- As the description says, this is quite an early version of the project. The player avatar is not fully detailed yet. So far there are only two dick sizes implemented: small and big whereas the text has a lot more. This will of course change in later releases.
- Could you please tell me where you are seeing this blank space? This has been reported by others as well yet I simply cannot find the problem and it works fine for me. Do you see the location pictures (1000x600 sized images above the text showing the location you are currently in) and is the blank space under or above it? Or do you see a blank space instead of the location picture?

Many bugs have been fixed and the UI should be more user friendly now, requiring less scrolling from the player.

Also I have massive issues with most submissive routes, as especially Lily only seems to be interested in feminizing you if you dont like it. The entire game seems to assume that subs have no say and doms can tell you what they want or drop you. I cant subscribe to this mindset at all, so I am not really interested in this game.

You should be able to get a general idea about your stats using the "check yourself out" option at home. If you want an actual numerical representation than sorry but that is not something I plan to add to the game. You can always use the walkthrough though, it should explain every single mechanic and provide a way to reach every part of the story.

This is our biggest update yet, close to half a million characters worth.
Because of how big some of the changes in this month's update are, now the patron only version and the public version are separate files. Please note which version you are using when sending me a bugreport! Thank you!

Gamification (PATRONS ONLY)
- Skills are now harder to increase and more important overall.

- Introducing the phone! Now you can keep track of your contacts and even call some of them if it's needed.
- Introducing the Gift shop: buying things for certain NPCs is needed to advance their storyline
- Introducing the Casino: a chance to earn some money if you are lucky, a chance to earn some money by cheating (unless you get caught...) and a chance to meet some very friendly NPCs
- Introducing Hornsville's main plot! What could be that mysterious app be that you find installed onto your phone?

Whoring 101 (chosen by the community PATRONS ONLY)
- If you are experienced with sex enough you can now earn some money by selling your body. Not all clients are pleasant though. Maybe take care not to be seen as a cheap whore to avoid the really nasty ones.
- If you want to hire whores instead you can look for a pimp who will get you anyone your heart desires. It only costs a little extra...

I was playing this morning, I asked for a save to file, closed the window and left to do some other things, now I return to try to load my save, and it tells me it's invalid, even though it's .txt, and the autosave just takes me to an endless loop of "Your autosave is loading"
