Hard-Light thong malfunction

It says to take the damn thing to the shop, and I took it to the shop on Uveto where you get it, and there's no option to fix it. I've tried buying a new one, selling it then buying it, and tried various other shops, and talking to Anno. Nothing. What the hell am I supposed to do? I can't find anything online on how to fix this damn thing.

... I just realized that 'Mi Amour' isn't the correct spelling for 'My Love' in any of the 5 Latin Languages. Is that intended?
Italian - Mi Amore
Spanish - Mi Amor
Portuguese - Meu Amor
French - Mon Amour
Romanian - Iubirea Mea
