Been working up the necessary ideas for allowing the PC to start the game as a half-Rodenian with a full Rodenian mother. So, all Ch'squee'ch'chk fans rejoice.

However, there are questions that need answering, and I would like to poll the crowd. First, a disclaimer, don't get your hopes up about earginas. They would require entirely new scenes all over the game, and I am not willing to take on such a task myself.

There are some minor differences between mouse and rodenian, as well as the fact that a rodenian PC race does not exist at all. Thus, there are some questions to be answered, in order.

1) Should the mouse phenotype simply be renamed to Rodenian?
This is the simplest possible option, speeding up development significantly. It changes your mother, your starting form, and your race name, but otherwise leaves much of the game alone, aside from changing a few words.

2 )Should Rodenian be it's own racial type with a score?
This area is difficult, but technically possible. The only listed major change between rodenians and mice as they currently stand are that rodenians are plantigrade rather than digitigrade. This would make this particular race very finicky, since unless I create whole new body parts (a poor solution, imo), I would need to be very picky on things like fur color, eye color, height, etc. It could be done, but such a race would be very restrictive.

3) Should Rodenian and mouse use the same race calculation?
This option has only been opened thanks to the new ability to pick between races that you qualify for. With this choice, rodenians and mice have the same point totals and qualifications, but a player could select how they are referred to using the preferred race selector.

4) Should minor changes be made to Mousearella Cheese?
Assuming we wish to really hop on the rodenian train, we need a way to give mouse plantigrade legs, which currently can only be done via save editing. Therefore, I suggest a minor change to mousearella cheese: first, it changes your legs to mouse legs. Then, subsequent doses may change your mouse legs to digitigrade.

I would like any and all possible feedback on this idea. I have calculated the simple bits of character creation for a half-Rodenian already, but given the race's quirks, along with us already having a mouse transformation, I would like to know which way most folks prefer to go.
