This idea is twofold. The mechanical bit that I absolutely can't help with, and the lore part I'd be happy to help with.
1. The nature of the game leads to a lot of 'roads not taken' syndrome. Some people have the time to play it again and again, some don't. Some are willing to savescum, some aren't as diligent as they'd need to be to take advantage of that. And this game has a frankly ridiculous amount of sex scene content already existing. The idea is to give the player the ability to take part in scenes they may have locked off for themselves. For example, someone who fought the Zil in the Meng'ha jail want to find out what happens if you fucked them without starting over.
2. The Lore: In a universe that can manage things like turning you completely into True Doll, or a sapient jello mold, its logical to think that there's considerable technology to preserving the mind. Enter the Infranet. Accessed through modified VR Headsets, the Infranet is a place populated by Scans and Cyphers. Scans are sapient beings that underwent experimental procedures to have their brains uploaded to computers, though they exist autonomously. Most of them don't even know if they still exist in 'meatspace'. Cyphers are true AIs, thinking and feeling beings comprised of math and code. Either out of nostalgia or novelty, they crave interaction with real people. Through the use of advanced hardlight projectors and more direct interfaces with the brain, they're able to produce elaborate fantasy scenarios, and they get off on feeling what the player feels.
The Infranet, as a setting, can offer some seriously cool scenarios. Off the top of my head:
-Shadowrun Style immersion hacking
-Accessing NPCs through the V-Ko's custom input
-Cybersex via a zork style text interface, with the actual text generated being modified by things like being a bimbo or being dumb.
-Building a body for a Scan or Cypher to download into 'meatspace'
-Bad Ends such as having malware turn you into a porny pop up ad, or failing to email yourself to safety when you destroy a system.
So, what do you all think?
