Gold Myr/Irellia Quest, how to attend rally?

So I was approached by someone who gave me a rally paper, after wandering around the city for a few moments I noticed that there was a star next to the Great Elevator. When I approached it all it said that there was a large group of Myr here, but I couldn't interact with it at all. I presume this is the rally, is this correct? If not where is the rally?

Way to not read the text you get when you get the flier. The rally is held at a specific time of the day.

Also don't attend, it leads to a bad end. Just call it in when you get there.

Just wait around in the area around the elevator in Gildenmere (that's the mushroom park) until you hit the time specified on the flier. You should get the event automatically and have the option to call it in.
