Any suggestions for other generic collars? For clarity, these would be Key Items and are cosmetic only. Not Accessories in the regular inventory. No stats.

I've got some things written out, but the team wants a Google Docs link to submit things. I'd rather minimize the information I give Google and they want a phone. Either a number or to scan a QR code. Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated.

OK, so, off the top of my head, I can think of a few different kinds of collars. This is me just spitballing, so pardon any potential dumbassery.

Ahem

First off is a spiked and/or studded collar, for that emo look. This is basically a requirement.

Next up is a heavy looking medieval manacle/shackle style collar, the kind you'd see in like a cartoon dungeon or whatever. Just a wide metal ring with a hinge and a padlock or something.

Next, leopard/zebra print collar to go with the respective dresses on dhaal.

Also hardlight collar, gotta have that.

Next, solid gold collar. Preferably studded with diamonds. For when you don't wanna waste time telling all the broke ass bitches how much you're worth. snap

Uh... OK I'm kinda out of ideas for now... oh maybe for one last option just have a length of raw rope or chain worn around your neck? That's pretty dope. Or maybe one made of vines with a few flowers on it that sounds cool too!

Also, maybe ask to have Beatrices Scarf reclassed as a collar? Though that does give warmth benefits so idk...

And maybe add a few scarf/other casual neckwear items, like maybe your classic anime Kamen Rider scarf that's maybe impracticable long and if you have silly mode on is always dramatically flapping in the wind.

Cool, actual feedback! Likes are nice, but this is better. (Both is best.)

Agreed.

Kind of covered by the Primitive Slave Collar.

Next, leopard/zebra print collar to go with the respective dresses on dhaal.
Honestly, I'd prefer not to get that specific. I think it's better to leave a lot of color/specific styling to the imagination. Chameleon Silk is a thing, but I doubt it can be done with Key Items as implemented. You could probably do something with v2-4 if you wanted to get really fancy, though I suspect the less painful it is to code, the more likely it is to be accepted.

Also hardlight collar, gotta have that.
Good idea.

In light of my previously expressed preferences, I think I'm going with 'precious metal and gem-encrusted'. Could be silver, gold, platinum, etc..

One thing to keep in mind is I'm pretty sure hasWornCollar is used for certain Bimbo-Domme Siegwulfe checks. Plus whatever else. I'd like to keep it compatible.
I'd also like to not overload whatever menu these end up in. If we're going for neckwear in general, these are good ideas.

Updated the OP.
Also, any thoughts on the flavor text/descriptions?
Especially the Plain Collar. I'd like the Silly Mode version to be full of purple prose, but I'm not very good at it.

As someone with a cowgirl Steele, I’d love to be able to wear a cowbell collar! (Love the pun lol.)

Maybe the dog collar could have a paw or a bone charm?

I think people will appreciate having a style option that won't require you to drop by Urbolg or Shekka to get it removed.

Eh, I wasn't really being too serious about that suggestion tbh, it kinda just came into my head and I figured "what the hell".

While personally I prefer specifics in my descriptions, I can understand why you would also want to phrase things so as to make them more all-encompassing. I can live with it.

Found something called a posture collar. They're rigid but soft, very kinky definitely seems like something Inessa would sell.

As for this... I mean, if all else fails, you could write everything in a notepad file, then just ask someone else to copy paste it into a Google doc and submit it on your behalf.

Yeah it's a bit of a jugfuck workaround, but if you're that determined to not interact with Google then that's the only way I'm seeing here.

Also the Primitive Slave Collar still has electronic bits, and may not have that pure caveman or medieval vibe someone is going for, ya know?

A normal choker would be nice. Maybe make it have an engraving like "be a good bitch" or "painslut" on it if you want it to be "kinky-er". Or even a collar with a nametag on it (though that could be grouped with the dog collar one)

I am keeping a Notepad file. I was thinking about doing it this way, but who to ask?
They just want a link, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't technically have to be mine.

I was a little worried the pun was too much. I'm glad someone appreciates it.

I don't want to get too specific, because then you run into needing a variant for every little thing.
The fashion version of the Air-Breathing Mermaid problem, if you will.
I'd love to let the player specify things like tags and engravings, but the text field of the Key Item is already spoken for with the inventory description. Maybe it's possible to splice some text into the description on purchase, but I don't know for sure. If this were my own project, I think I know a way to work around the limitation anyway, but I'm not 100% sure it's feasible without speaking to a coder about it. It would also be a lot of work.

Added a mention of choice of tags to the Dog collar, not sure how to fit an engraving on Choker.
Added Archaic Slave Collar, Choker, Posture Collar.
Probably need a better description for Choker, at least.

Posture collar sounds like the sort of thing that ought to have mechanical consequences, since you can't turn your head as easily.
-Evasion +Defense, or something.

Well I guess it just has to be somebody you trust to not fuck you over and claim the work as their own or alter it.

The hard part will be that the team leaves notes in the Google doc for things they want changed or expounded upon or whatever. So, you've added a link in the communication chain, and it's important to remember that chain doesn't stop needing to function once submitted.
