If the Slinky Black Omnisuit is unequiped, then other armor or items are equiped and then Steele tries to put on the Omnisuit later, all other worn items (armor and undergarments) are listed as something like this "You acquire a mark one suit of Xenogen’s Atma Armor (x0)." As the (x0) implies, nothing returns to Steele's inventory.
