Furry RPG/Fighter Project

Hello everyone!

This project doesn't have a name yet, but I've been working on it for two months. In essence, the game is a Dissidia/Smash Bros. clone with an RPG mix thrown in. I don't have many pictures yet, but I want to get the word out a little before I release the first build. I'm also slightly procrastinating because why not.

it looks interesting,
at first when i read "fighting game" i could swear it would have a more MUGEN like aspect as several, if not most, of other furry and porn fighters do.

Thanks! I'm making the game from scratch and trying to give it a unique flavor...which is why I'm trying to avoid assets and sprite sheets from characters that are already in MUGEN.

I'll definitely do that soon. Thanks for the tip.

I feel as if making the game exclusive to "gay only" is really alienating your potential and limiting your success.

You're probably right, but I'm not straight and don't really understand anything about straight sex. I definitely don't want to research it, so I'd rather stick to what I know than try to make up stuff I don't. If I happen to get another spriter/animator, however, and they want to make and include content I'm not comfortable with, be my guest.

Considering there is enough straight only games, doom98, you'll be fine. Furry games in particular seem to be a lot gayer than the mainstream, so I'm certain this will find an audience.

Yeah, I guess so. I'm trying to go for a little bit more with some RPG elements, however, such as swapping abilities out and a story presented more like the old pokemon or final fantasy games.

There's no public demo, but if you really want to try the game, you can build a demo from the github repo. I'm working on getting the demo up, but the AI isn't finished yet.
