Freezing Resist?

Resist what? what's there to resist, I don't get it I have been all over the smutosaur site and have been pouring over the in-game content but where are these 'cold' weapons/abilities?

Or am I just blind..

There are no freezing weapons in the game yet.
On the PC it just prevents you from freezing your ass off in Uveto for now.
