Four-Armed Steele

I just remembered something that with the help of the recent Backer Fan-Art, a question regarding something related to the Gold Myrellion Transformative aka the Gold Pill.

I am sure that the reasoning behind this is because Dane mentioning that it is rare for people to have brain the capacity to utilize more than two arms; however even if its merely a cosmetic change (as well as opening up possible new avenues with a Steele with four arms), why don't we have Steele with the option of having four arms?

Just wondering as a long time user I have always wondered it, but like a poke in the sides only recently remembered that I wanted to ask this question out of curiosity.

If I remember correctly, it would be a pain to code in and going back to old scenes to show that you have four arms would be painstakingly time consuming. There may be some more reasons but I can't remember.

@J-10 Hmmm makes sense, that does sound like a reasonable plausible explanation when you think about dialogue regarding the usage of four arms.

Then why not like say way before then like say near the beginning of the project that it is a viable option? I mean I wouldn't have mind at all if as I said merely cosmetic and not shown in many scenes, just merely looking that I have four arms is enough.

IIRC, this was discussed a BUNCH of times too, in that Steele having multiple arms would also potentially lead to having genetic advantages when it comes to combat as well. I think the devs have pretty vehemently stated that they want to avoid adding multi-arm Steeles for the above mentioned reason, and for combat purposes.

@Lkynmbr24 Awww really? For shame, well at least thats one question off my list. Been bugging me for awhile actually and only NOW I remember it lol. Just one of those days.
