So, this may have already been suggested, but i couldn't see it after a brief search.
Idea: When you click to fly to a new planet, you have the option of either just continuing, or you can use the flying time on your ship to have some RPed Downtime. For example, masturbating like crazy as you travel from Tavros.
From a technical point, I'd imagine it as just another scene between the point where you click to fly, and the flying itself, with all the normal options you'd find when on the ship. Clicking either Sleep or Continue would move you on. The idea being, Sleeping on your ship between trips could be a good level up thing, rather than sleeping, levelling up, then travelling.
You could also use items while travelling, and feel the effects in privacy.
